    Really glad that I found a channel that ignited the flame of my interest in Sociology. I am an 11th grade student and have opted for Sociology as one my subjects. To my distress, neither my teacher nor any youtube channel helped me in this regard. Things were getting boring until I decided to read my book on my own during these ongoing summer vacations. To clarify a concept, I searched for a video on this chapter and randomly scrolled down to bottom because all those channels on top were not worth watching. This random scroll brought me to your video and I learned how things turn out great for one if one has dedication. You have created it very interesting, Thanks to your efforts

    Neither the life of an individual nor the history of society can be understood without both can u explain it with some examples

    • @sociopedia_o2
      @sociopedia_o2  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Individual life (experiences, choices, and challenges) >Shaped by by social structure (norms, values, social change etc) > Society in turn shaped by individuals (forming social history)
      Ex. why IAS is a preferred career ( because indian society gives lot of prestige to it (source of social mobility too) and after becoming IAS, officers bring change in society..
      hope it helps :)

    common sense is not naturalistic, it is only individualistic, naturalistic is something which is more or less uniform for all, for example earth revolve around the sun is naturalistic...common sense is not uniform...NCERT ki wo line galat hai...common sense is not naturalistic...

    • @sociopedia_o2
      @sociopedia_o2  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, Yes you are right. By very defination naturalistic is something similar to laws of nature. However, the connotion for using Naturalistic here is the explaination that comes naturally to a human mind ( because of his bias and prejudices). For an individual it may seem natural to see or explain something in a particular manner. But still your point is valid ... Keep learning

    • @shunya_infinite
      @shunya_infinite 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sociopedia_o2 yes, but that is also not naturally, as the thoughts, perspectives come to our mind are due to social forces which act on us, proved as per study of suicide by emile durkheim that there are social forces which shape our decisions, thinking, etc. that means it is not naturalistic because it is cultivated, by society...Thankq...
