On the last Mauser pistol the round button that looks like the magazine release is actually what is pressed to ready the pistol to fire after the nearby safety lever is pushed down. I know the magazine release is at the bottom of the grip but I was curious what the small round button was for. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏼

Just FYI but with regard to the Omaha Beach sand, you are NOT suppose to take any. If the French see you do that, they will be in your face and you face a fine. That is what we were told by the French tour guide when we were there.

About Angela Raubal, I did not know it was done with Walther Model 8, I read it was with her uncle's S&W Lady Smith .22 cal revolver serial #709 (sold in 1903 in Paris, so maybe her uncle took it form a French soldier at some point).
Her uncle used the Lady Smith to fire twice in the air in Munich in 1923, just to declare the NS revolution open.
In 1945 it was captured in Munich by an American GI Andrew Sivi and sold in 1980 to colonel Larry Michaels, and did not surface since.

According to Hitlers personal servant, the pockets of Hitlers pants and jacket were made of buckskin. Especialy for carrying guns. The intention was less for selfdefense, but the fear of falling alive into enemy hands.
Your story of Geli Raubal is true.

People always say, "Hitler had a pistol sown into his trousers". Did he only have one pair of trousers that was never washed?

Out of context : In current german Hose is singular/ Hosen plural. But in old texts a single Hose was called ein Paar Hosen/ a pair of trousers. Englisch hose is german Schlauch.

I have a PPK wit Waffenamt stamps, serial 355XXX ( the front strap serial was overstamped) and cast aluminium grips. Bought in London, 1982, with just a garbled story as history. Do you have any clues as to it's provenance? There was talk of the cold at Stalingrad cracking the bakelite grips, hence the aluminium ones.

    How romantic!
The young niece cannot bear the absence of her older uncle lover. At last she will cut her life short with a departure gift he had given her, the Walther Modell 8 while whispering the simple but powerful words to her, “Auf Wiedersehen, meine Lieben.” The young girl is not able to reach him by any means. They had both known that for him there would be a dangerous journey ahead. After a long night of agony and self doubt, she mumbles the words to herself “Ich kann es nicht ertragen.” A shot rings out into the morning gloom, a short indicator that of she no longer will need to bear the pain of solace.

First of all, i really do like your videos, your Knowledge and of course your guns, but PLEASE do it slower!
You're talking so fast and handle the guns even faster that i really can't follow. I have to pause every video to have a close look what you're talking about. Even your Camera man can't focus on that specific detail you're talking about currently. My eyeballs feels like they are in a rollercoaster so fast you turn the guns in every direction and sometimes i feel a bit of headache while watching!
We want to see the guns in detail, we want to see what you mean! Absoloutely no need to hurry!
Big thanks nevertheless for all the beautiful guns!

When a person walks in and sells you a firearm they have broken the law unless they have a FFL. If I buy a firearm from you I can't sell it unless I have an FFL. Today collectors firearms are WORTHLESS.

Really?… I live in a very restricted state. A private person can sell directly to a licensed FFL dealer. There is a lot of paperwork. This dealer then contacts the ATF etc. to ascertain the gun is not stolen etc. after that the FFL dealer can sell the gun.
