I find this part disgusting. Bella decision to keep child, even it was obviously dangerous and it was supposed that it kill her from the beginning of pregnancy, is simply form of self tortue. I understand Edward was angry. This was unhealthy and reckless. I think, mother love is important, and I should maybe too think about about keeping child, but if it would started to break my bones etc. I would choose to have sooner labour. Bella should loved herself too, but she do not think about herself, putting baby first on her expense. I found this as masochistic.

Bella didn't want to wait for Edward to give her morphine (explained in the book), Bella just wanted the baby to be out or else it would die, because in the book it explains if they didn't get the baby out in time it would suffocate do to smth that broke (ik what it is but I wont wanna say it) hope this helps!

If you read the book it comes into explanation, since the baby was a half-breed there was some problems. The baby over and over again bruised, broke Bella's bones and skin, trying to get out by clawing its way through the stomach. And since the baby was growing so fast it was hard to expect when it would come so by the time it stuck the baby was to be to do it the normal way. Because she was growing to big. Hope that helps!
