BTS is better although some of them are doing their military service which are required by their government, in few months RM, Jimin, V, & Jeon Jungkook will be going for military service so they will be back 2025 to sing & tour, the No. 1 BTS . BTS is unique because they write their own songs since that what in University. All the boys help plus the selections of tunes of their songs.
Why are we even comparing them BTS is good that doesn't mean Seventeen is not as good as them and about members writing if you know Seventeen you will know their majority songs were written by member woozi and other members writes too
