this has to be one of the most creative boss fights in the saga, its sad we never get something like this again, i mean the naruto vs pain boss should be like this, kill the 6 bodies not a boring 1 vs 1 fight
I remember being a kid and playing as Sage mode jiraiya going against all 3 Pains. Ngl It felt epic af.
the part where you need to fight three Pains and then beat them all at once looks super hard to pass, because if you beat down one body, you need to beat down the other two bodies within time limit or the body you worked so hard to beat gets back up again

Jiraiya deserved better. He should have lived long. The way he died is way brutal. I hated Nagato with my guts back then. I remember me wanting to throw my tea cup on TV.
And 6 years ago i actually got to beat the hell out of pain in this game.
PS : is it bad that i actually wanted Naruto to kill pain and kona when he found out where they were hiding out.
I really wanted revenge even after knowing their backstory. But sadly this anime had a fetish. It might be pro or a con based on individual perspective.
I didn't like when every evil / bad guy was created by circumstances. Sad and unfortunates ones.
Like Nagato, Zabusa, haku, even madara.
This anime like to tell us that even terrorists and people like Hitler had a heart like every other human being. "Which is not a bad thing".
But still. Fair share of antagonists in Naruto series was somehow good at heart.
There are a very few exceptions tho. Some plain evil ones.
If I remember correctly, Naruto said he still wanted revenge after hearing Nagatos backstory, but he wouldn't take his life.
For many years i've read manny people commenting that Kishimotos story is all about forgivness, and that Naruto is some kind of Jesus with his talk no jutsu; I don't see it that way.
Jiraiya hoped for people to understand each other, and by doing so, to stop the cycle of hatred. But that doesn't mean that people should not atone for their actions. Some characters do this, they just happened to die by doing so, like Nagato or Obito.
About the "fetish" thing with antagonists and villains with tragic/sad backstorys, i think thats what makes them compealling, rather than having evil characters just for the sake of being evil. Itachi and Kisame are far more rememberd than Hidan and Kakuzu.
Many people are good at heart, but failiure or tragedy can make anyone lose conffidence, leading to a path of darkness and suffering, hurting others in the process.
In this regard, Kakashi is the best example that even when we fail and tragedy falls upon us, we can fill the emptyness of our hearts with others.
I also cried like a baby when Jiraiya died; it was cruel indeed, but he passed away with a smile on his face, because till the end he remained true to himself and made his choice: to never give up.

No, what this anime is trying to tell you is that the price of obeying fear is evil, and evil is what creates suffering in the world.
Look at the whole hidden village/shinobi system in the Naruto world, is all based in fear of the actions foreign nations could do to yours, and that's where ninjas come useful, to do the dirty work of those elites too cowardly to face each other with words. And lives get injured and destroyed during the process of said ninja work, which creates grudges, grudges that are often satiated with blood and create more grudges, creating a never-ending chain of hatred.
Only _you_ can choose to stop it. Jiraiya realized that and hence why he never took on the hokage role and prefered to do spy work and laze out during his travels, so he could avoid hurting more people as he did in the war. Naruto knew he could've ended Nagato and Konan right there, but he instead chose to cut the chain of hatred right there and _spared them._
Which if you think about it, mercy is braver than revenge, because you're taking a far bigger risk with no guarantee things will go your way, _instead of giving in to fear and kill for revenge._

And no one even bother to mod in the original anime soundtracks.
It really pulls you out of immersion hearing this uninspired trashy generic osts, menu music, exploration music.
Which sucks really hard.
Atleast nsuns4 has better osts compared to others.

You should do gameplay walkthroughs. You're really good and I think people would enjoy watching you play through these Naruto games. Also, I love how cinematic the Ultimate Ninja Storm games are.

I remember this fight I played a lot in my childhood I just missed the Chameleon, panda bear and the dog multiplying/dividing What's in the same in the anime and manga but apart from that this fight is pactant and very emotional 😔🤧 And the sad thing is to see the death of the favorite sensei and not having Sasori in the Hiruko armor or the others 6 Pains for us to use in duel mode at least 3 Pains the Animal Both male and female version,the Deva that he already has and the Human Who there too?
