Chinecheni is can be considered as Sacrament ..... Catholic have sacraments so they may called achinemi if they want in that perspective but we Baptist dont, because we believe on the ordinances but not sacrament.... Many Baptist believers are confused between these two as well and think we also do chinecheni therefore we should be called achinemi. Secondly, 1 Pt. 2:9 the text is applied to the Jews believers and not to the Gentiles believers . However not in an argument with you, we both hold the same view. Well explained sir.
The sacrament is a holy priesthood ordinance that helps remind us of the Savior's Atonement. During the sacrament, we partake of bread and water. We do this in remembrance of His flesh and His blood, which He gave as a sacrifice for us. As we partake of the sacrament, we renew sacred covenants with our Heavenly Father.. Not chinechini. .. 'We had to proclaim the word of God to you first, but since you have rejected it, since you do not think yourselves worthy of eternal life, here and now we turn to the gentiles. 47 For this is what the Lord commanded us to do when he said: I have made you a light to the nations, so that my salvation may reach the remotest parts of the earth.' 48 It made the gentiles very happy to hear this and they gave thanks to the Lord for his message; all who were destined for eternal life became believers. 49 Thus the word of the Lord spread through the whole countryside.
Sir, There are also different kind of ministers according to Eph 4:11.... You should have touched that too and also about deacon because many believers have misunderstood the service of a deacon....Also reverend is the name of God according to the Bible.... Double honor is talking about wealth/money.....Anyway thank you nad well done.
