Angelina sings each note(s) - plural because she is constantly adjusting with rifts, runs, vibrato, fry, moving her sound placement - from start to finish, with constant attention to detail.
When she went up high on 'Oh your daddy's rich',I was like 'How is she singing like that!' Something like that you would hear from jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday do.Not a 7-year-old (or however old she was here)! Angelina J. is just incredible.Thanks for your Awesome reaction.

I love her. She's an amazing singer. Her voice is very reminiscent of Amy Winehouse, to me. That's not a bad thing...at all. Cant wait to see how she progresses.
Summertime, at seven years old, and she sings it like she was a blues singer from the forties. A lullaby I've heard all my life, and yet I never heard it this well. And "Shot me down", was better than the original, (duh), and even though it was a competition show, she made it a complete rendition, one which I'll have some difficulty forgetting. Where the (bleep) did she get that kind of talent? I read a comment on one of her performances, which said "I wouldn't be surprised if God made that voice, just so he could listen to it."
When she sings at 5:40 or so, your daddy's rich, oh my God!!!!!! You reacted so I know you recognized it too, the undeniable purity and quality of this SEVEN year old is off the charts. I also believe it was effortless for her to do this.
I did mention that she Killed Summertime, and for a seven year old she managed well. (she managed well for a thirty-year-old) I found that she "shot me down" when she sang "Bang Bang" as well. Now you need to move to "The Show must Go On" and remember that she made the mask, to symbolize the flaking makeup and smile that never fails.
It so nice to watch a new one get hooked, Angelina singing not to my head but my soul and heart, she grasp me and I always get emotional, afterward my head is light and I am content, sleeping like a child, she is my hero and I´m 57! My life ha in a way been better after Angelina turned up, my one and only Elvis left me, 40 years later Angelina turns up with the souls containing Elvis, Ella, Amy and a few other..left their souls in her? Honestly .. 99% of the time I am SUPER GRATEFUL that they only sing 2-3 minutes of any song. Truly! .. but not Angelina, of course, I always want her to keep singing!

I remember seeing Summertime live at the NGT finals 6 years ago. After her initial 3 songs I knew it would be good, but as I knew Ella, Dinah and Janis version I really had a fear that she could destroy everything. You know, being 7 years old, try to do a Jazz classic and everything. Then she does this!!!! At 7 yo. My musical world has never been the same. ( ok, I am lying, she has done the same thing to me several times later 😀

Every little clip of anything about her shows a genuinely beautiful, humble, sincere, focused little angel that has had the same goal from day one and effortlessly strives toward it. She has said often that she is never nervous or scared to perform and that it is only fun. She has also said that " singing is as important as breathing to me". To know her is to love her.

I agree. There is emotion, sometimes it feels sad but she weaves her singing into it but I never feel sad at the end. She said she is never nervous before singing. In Bang Bang when she sings, "church bells ring" especially the way she pronounces ch, I feel if I got stuck in it I would die in bliss.
Thanks for your reactions, man! I've been in love with Angelina Jordan since the performances here, I stumbled upon her watching Norway's got talent in 2014. "Gloomy sunday" amazed me, along with the rest of our country. Her next performance was this one (Bang, Bang) and after that I was completely sold. I still can't wrap my head around how a 7-8 year old can do something like that. Needless to say, I've followed her ever since. I'm very new to the reaction video scene. Didn't think much of it before, but now I'm both fascinated to watch people react to Angelina, and also find a lot of new interesting music on reaction channels like yours. I guess that if we share something "music-wise", there are probably more music we're both fans of. Like Dimash, I'd never heard of him before a few days ago. People keep comparing him to Angelina, which I don't understand. They're both great. They're both fantastic. But they are so different that I would never compare them. I love them both.
Whenever I see these I'm struggling to reconcile this phenomenal voice with such a young girl. She's just a child, it's not normal! :) It is, however, extremely enjoyable to listen to.

I am the same like you, knowing all about an artist. I call it being vertical, like listening to absolutely everything by Bowie, for instance. While others are horizontal, and just skip the surface, but know 100 different hit songs from 80 different artists. AJA looks to be one worth getting to know like family.

She was 7 years old when she sang "Bang Bang" ion the semi finals of Norway's Got Talent and just over 8 years old when she sang "Summertime" in the finals which, of course, she won. I think she has referred to her fans as her "Angels" on her Facebook page. If I am wrong, someone is sure to be along shortly to correct me. Her originals are: "Shield" written to acknowledge her mother's support. ""What is life" her views on life as a 12 year old. "Oslo", written when she was en route from Los Angeles to Oslo, her birthplace.
I have quickly become a fan of you. So now I wonder, what do you call your fans? :) Wolf Rock fans? Wolf Cubs? Or maybe just 'crazy people online ' haha. They are a fantastic caring family that take very good care of her, especially her mother and grandmother. They are not in it for the money, but rather for the love of the music and the talent. In Norway we are used to strong, independent women, but what these 2(3,) women does impress even me. (Sorry uncle Michael, also know you are an important person but today credits to the women).
In preparation for viewing Angelina's covers, I'd recommend viewing the original first. In this case, Nancy Sinatra and Cher did the first versions of "Bang Bang", and I think you'll find Angelina's version is the one you want to replay. How can a 7-8 year old child understand these concepts and emotions? Why would she pick this song and 'Gloomy Sunday' for her performances? You can see why Norwegians were in a state of disbelief during this period.

I hope so much she kreps her style and don't get pushed to be more Mainstream... haters gonna hate, but as much as I loved her performance on agt champions, I was also a little sad, it was jazzy, but it was more different than I have come to know her by and love these passed six years it. Both toned down and much more popish, og anyone knows what I am talking about.
Ogf course it was magical, she can make every song into a whole universe.
As I have written earlier I love your reaction! But these performances was probably the TV moment i "saw the light" and becsme a huge fan! A fan of a 7/8 year old child... I remember that i voted about 25 times ...... and I usually don't vote ....

This is the whole song, I believe. Usually the time element is only enforced at the original audition to get INTO the contest.. but Angelina tends to edit her covers anyway ..

Yeah,theese judges got teary eyes to every single one of her performances. They looked just as destroyed after every song,because they still couldnt believe how she sounded for her tiny age🤣💞The guys name is Bjarte Hjelmeland,he is an actor,director and singer in Norway.

I am the same like you, knowing all about an artist. I call it being vertical, like listening to absolutely everything by Bowie, for instance. While others are horizontal, and just skip the surface, but know 100 different hit songs from 80 different artists. AJA looks to be one worth getting to know like family.

wolf that was a very heartfelt and classy critique at the end of this post I am right there with you . Angelina is one that is certainly worth extra effort to get to know all you can, I have seen just about everything she has posted and she is like a living juke box that can play any song you want and in most cases do it better or equal to the original.

Hi Wolf Rock. Thank you for another reaction to my favourite singer. She was 7 years old when she sang "Bang Bang" ion the semi finals of Norway's Got Talent and just over 8 years old when she sang "Summertime" in the finals which, of course, she won. I think she has referred to her fans as her "Angels" on her Facebook page. If I am wrong, someone is sure to be along shortly to correct me.
Her originals are: "Shield" written to acknowledge her mother's support. ""What is life" her views on life as a 12 year old. "Oslo", written when she was en route from Los Angeles to Oslo, her birthplace.
I think she is going to be calling her fans Angels.

I don't know if you are aware of this but Angelina sorted out the Trumpet part for the Summertime Performance, which was the Final btw. There is a really sweet video of her rehearsing this.
talking about opera you should react to amira willighagen. she won holland g.t. as 9 years. she learnt it herself by listening to youtube. Sister in art to a.j. big heart. I am so happy to have heart the two girls. Listen to them every day . best voices in my 80 years.

They are a fantastic caring family that take very good care of her, especially her mother and grandmother. They are not in it for the money, but rather for the love of the music and the talent. In Norway we are used to strong, independent women, but what these 2(3,) women does impress even me. (Sorry uncle Michael, also know you are an important person but today credits to the women).

In preparation for viewing Angelina's covers, I'd recommend viewing the original first. In this case, Nancy Sinatra and Cher did the first versions of "Bang Bang", and I think you'll find Angelina's version is the one you want to replay. How can a 7-8 year old child understand these concepts and emotions? Why would she pick this song and 'Gloomy Sunday' for her performances? You can see why Norwegians were in a state of disbelief during this period.

My Baby Shot me down was originally written and recorded by Sonny & Cher Bono in 1966, and it was a big hit in the UK. Somehow Nancy Sinatra got a hold of it, and although the music was good, I never liked her vocals. That all changed when Angelina sang this version on N.G.T. 2014. I must have hit the replay button 5 or 6 times!😍😁👍
