Hey Tim! Do you think it would be a good idea to wait until 5.1 launches for the S6 before rooting? I just want to get 5.1 on this device as soon as possible and I've had experiences where a clean, updated rooted version takes a while.
Hey, I'm in a jam here... I tripped knox a while back and then the update came out and I can't get my phone up and running again... I've tried restoring it and downgrading and stuff but it just freezes up and I can't get it to fully boot up. Any ideas? I'll do anything to get it up and running again.
You mentioned that you were on tmobile, i am as well and i have the tmobile jump too. My question is, will this process affect my tm' warranty in anyway? I have the s6 as well.
QUESTION!!! Even though my exact rom isnt on the website of where you download the root file. is it still safe for me to download it and root my phone?
+Tim Schofield (Qbking77) I watched your video and loved it bro great work. So followed it to a tee until I looked for my build number and it's not listed. can you she'd any light with this matter.
your grace qbking how shall i unlock bootloader without killing any warranties? (that i can re lock it back if i need to etc) getting a lease phone on sprint s6.
So far it seems that the s6 really sucks when it comes to mods and everything that makes Android fun. It's also not waterproof like the old phones and has no SD card slot. Who thought this was a good idea and why haven't they been fired?
Hey can you make a video on why you should root your phone, I have the nexus 6 and idk if I should or not. Like basic questions, could it mess up my phone? Does it void the warranty? I'm new to the rooting stuff
1st-if you noticed in the app...there was an unroot option if you need to take your device in for srvc... 2nd-no it doesn't or can not hurt your device...all it does is allow you access to root folders and files on the internal storage that you were previously unable to access...*caution* be careful what you click on...do your homework... Lastly-you will now have a lot of different options available to you at this point when it come to non stock customization eg...installing custom recoveries and flashing different roms and root only aps...
I have the nexus 6 not the galaxy s6. I isn't know there was an app to root the nexus 6. I asked because jail breaking my iPod touch voided the warranty and messed it up but thanks for the help
+Ben Murphy apparently there's no fix for this. Seems that Samsung added a hardware fatures breaking the guarantee in case of any patch failure, too risky for me, but I really hate to have a phone with default ROM and without ROOT !!! :(
it's great u can watch these vids on how to root your phone then when u go to the website it does not support your device even though it says "all variants"in the vid so if you have a s6 that is a sm-s906l with og8 build, yeah forget it your not rooting it in this life time.
what ppl dont tell you is that make shore your device is charged to 100% just incase you run into truble with it coz you will end up with an $800 brick that now cant be charged and will not turn off till you put the right firmware in. like me i used the wrong ware and i ended up making it frozen on start up with 10% battery i ended up finding the right stuff. so if your new to root lol then you need to read anythink and everythink about rooting. thats just my 2 cents
Tyler Frank Currently Xposed is not available due to different partitions used on the S6. The Xposed dev has said he is in the process of making Xposed for our devices but it may be a while before it is fully working.
ping pong too good to be true, for whatever reason there is still thousands of builds that it does not support.
doesnt work for s6 active which is a variant. sooooo.....
Did you find working way to root it?
how can they have rooting galaxy s6 without trpping Knox but not the s5? :c
It didnt have the party beta so i downloaded the other one with the same 7zip thing but when i open it in RAR it doesnt say pingpong
Wow cool...do you think that they will support the Note4 in the future?
Hey Tim! Do you think it would be a good idea to wait until 5.1 launches for the S6 before rooting? I just want to get 5.1 on this device as soon as possible and I've had experiences where a clean, updated rooted version takes a while.

I tried to find the ping pong root beta 3 but I only saw a beta 5 and 6
Yes!!!!!! So happy! Thanks! Now I can root and install a custom ROM on my AT&T S6!! Subed!
QUESTION!!!
Even though my exact rom isnt on the website of where you download the root file. is it still safe for me to download it and root my phone?
If i do this would i still be able to use Samsung Pay when it comes out?
Cesar Castro Nobody knows if you can use Samsung Pay while rooted (doubt it), but knox isn't tripped so you can just unroot and use it
Qbking77 (Tim Schofield) thank you!
+Tim Schofield (Qbking77)
I watched your video and loved it bro great work. So followed it to a tee until I looked for my build number and it's not listed. can you she'd any light with this matter.

Tim Schofield (Qbking77) So there is no problem with the bootloader? Can i install a custom rom after i root my s6 this way?
coby uzan depends on what carrier your on. tmobile does not come with locked bootloader. i dont know about the others though
