Set the church on fire!!! You can never go wrong with the hymns of the church. This is one of my favorites! and I absolutely LUV the fact that they are local - way to represent Christ & Maryland :)

This is as good as it gets as close to heaven musically as it gets. If this song doesn't touch the soul of person they're already dead. I heard the intro on the radio one morning before work, it only took a few notes to know i was about to hear from heaven. I immediately stopped cooking breakfast, ran to find a cassette tape not caring what was on it and caught the middle of the intro til the end. I searched many hours looking for this version. Thank you very much for posting this song.

When I look back over my life being the only child being an army brat in Germany having to come back to the States to an abusive house hold walking to an fro to seek refudge waywordly yet in the midst of it all God's holy angels hand hands were protecting me I just close my eyes an all into tears of the reflection of my life is being played out like a documentary through this song.

And I told him I was a retired choral music teacher from the public schools. Then he asked me had I ever heard of Patrick Lundy? and I said no I had not. We were also graced with the man who wrote and arranged this song, Micheal Reid, both of our roots started there under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Tommie Lee Jenkins Sr., a true teacher and man of God.
The Adult Choir at my church, Church of the Redeemed of the Lord in Baltimore, MD, sang this past Sunday morning. It was truly an anointed and unforgettable experience!!
No matter when I hear this song or sing it, I want to rededicate my life to the Lord all over again. Intentional Praise is inspired. This was the intention of the original hymn. Rarely does a remake of a hymn do what was intended. THIS ONE goes beyond the original hymn for me. Each and every time!!
