Turbo, This was a decent video my guy. You seem to have some knowledge, and are quite generous in sharing it with us airgunners. The things that you pointed out, would have been the exact same things I would have not liked either. Like that ridiculous grip. The plastic feed lips. No open extraction door. The cheap plastic charging handle. There are quite a few disappointments that would more than likely convince me not to buy. The DPMS is a little bit better in quality, and in power, and being able to shoot in full Auto mode is where it defeats this gun completely. Even the Heckler & Koch HK416 CO2 BB Rifle out does this rifle. Shooting at 450 FPS with 6 Rd bursts , that utilizes 2 Co2 capsules per mag. I haven't been impressed with Sig Air since they launched Their headliners ..... the MCX, and MPX Pellet guns, that poorly lack in power as well, even with a monsterous 88Grm Co2 Cartridge, they cant seem to pass about 400 FPS at best with a .177 round led pellet! The sig M17 had a weak magazine design. The p320 sucked as well, just no power. This gun does however looks cool, and may even have a better look than the DPMS, but the construction, and the performance I viewed, I.M O. I'm not too impressed with. So thanks for making this video bruh. Very good job in showing us the real deal about this gun. Thanks again!!
Damn: I like what I see, I don’t know if can get one in my Nazi Canada 🇨🇦 but that looks Awesome , I do have 3 full auto AK1,AR1 and SBR and this one would be nice addition to my gun collection which is 30+ guns and air rifles..When someone asks Why? I just say it’s a hobby and I like collecting them and shooting them..In reality you just need good break barrel rifle in .22 and pump pistol 🔫 like Crosman 1322 or 1377 plus full tang knife…
I was gonna buy this until I heard about the flippy floppy rail. To me it's important that top rails are solid and are durable for holding zero. I don't care if it's just a BB gun. Great review!
This is just the first gen they are gunna take everything that people hate and work on it expect a new one in a few years, probably with open bolt blow back better rail threaded barrel etc
It would be nice if they would just give us a working dust cover. If crossman who doesn't even make real steel weapons can do it im sure the weapon manufacturer can do it too lol. I guess the panther arms crossman collab was made better too so its a good thing i kept that.
Is the stock steel or polymer ? Also, is the stock on this compatible with their real firearm rattler ? Not sure if anything differs or not. I cannot find a stock at all for my rattler 300. I wonder if it’s worth buying this one for the stock.
It is pretty cool. Sig did a lot of thing right but still got a lot of things wrong. They could have made it awesome if they wanted but it would have raised the price a little or a lot.
I ended up pulling the top rail off of mine and filled the inside with jb weld automotive adhesive and reinstalled the rail and it is not rock solid no wiggle or nothing
Yeah.. Seems that this one got rhe exact same grip as the Canebrake ASP got. Small, thin and flimsy. I ain't liking it either.. The Sig Virtus did get a way better grip than these Rattlers..
Convert it to the crossman r1 internal parts. And you will ge higher FPS. The thing with these bb guns? It's that they need good suction. The whole barrel with the bb needs to be air tight. So when you shoot them BB's. They fly, out the barrel.
No. it's really sturdy except for the top rail and the stock. The top rail I just live with it but I did replace the stock on mine with a metal one.@@3kPresidential
Once again... Sig EMBARRASSED themselves at the airgun game. I own all three of their pellet-guns, including the .22 virtus. All 3 I had to HEAVILY HEAVILY HEAVILY modify them to make them a bare minimum mediocre. All 3 are extremely cheap aluminum shells and have NO action to them at all... all the buttons are fake AF and don't even move... they are actually just Parr of the shell. I had to put some of my .45 carbon fiber 4500psi tanks on all 3, with modified Ninja SHP regulators pushing 1300 psi output. The internals I had to fully customize and upgrade with my own parts and mods... because the stock GARBAGE interns would fail MISERABLY only after 300 or 400 shots!!! they are my sons, and I had to use my exspensive pcp parts to make them run consistently. I never have to do much to my real Sig powder burners... but their Airgun game is ABSOLUTE TRASH. And it looks like they still can't produce something better than Crosman. What a joke, after the first 3... I'll NEVER buy another airgun from them. Trash AF. Incredible job and review tho.
I only own two sig airguns....this one and the 320. Sig had the opportunity to make this an awesome airgun but they dropped the ball. I have since converted the rattler to full auto and I will say I like it more now but I will need a few additional mags to determine how it will be as a training gun. My biggest grip about it now is it not having a functioning ejection port door.
I just received the MCX Rattler. They indeed cheaped out on this. It feels flimsy and cheap. I was expecting the barrel to be metal but it's plastic. Straight up lame as hell. It's definitely not worth the price.
@@turbo15100 Also with all airguns theres a break in period i'm sure after 500 rounds and some oiling the Valuve you'll get 400/430 fps without tuning it.
Sig designed the grip to allow easier extraction from backpacks or small bags, etc.

Are there metal parts you get aftermarket to replace the gripes? (top rail & charging handle)
And what replacement handle fits it?
I'm not aware of any company that makes replacements for the rail or charging handle but for the grip any grip for the AR Platform should work.
I didn’t even know this existed. Thanks.
Thanks for watching.
do you know if the charging handle is replaceable/interchangeable with metal ones? like on a gbbr or something
That's a good question...I will have to look into it.
Can you do an update video on this gun??
Yes. I do plan on bring it back out soon.
Is the stock steel or polymer ? Also, is the stock on this compatible with their real firearm rattler ? Not sure if anything differs or not. I cannot find a stock at all for my rattler 300. I wonder if it’s worth buying this one for the stock.
The stock on this is polymer. I would Not recommend this for the actual firearm as there is just too much flex in it.
@@turbo15100 oh ok, I gotcha. Thank you boss 👍🏽
There are some airsoft companies that sell steel mcx stocks u might look at those they range from 60-160 bucks or so
@@garyr2650 Thanks. I did not know that. I will look to see what I can find.
Great job Turbo.🇺🇸

Pretty bad ass little BB gun I have to say
It is pretty cool. Sig did a lot of thing right but still got a lot of things wrong. They could have made it awesome if they wanted but it would have raised the price a little or a lot.
Can you change out the charging handle w/ a real one or is the other end different than the actual firearm variant??
The charging handle that's on this gun is shorter than a standard charging handle so you would not be able to swap them out.
Love this gun is the barrel threaded ?
Unfortunately it is not.
@@turbo15100 that sucks
The shooting is fun too watch
Thanks!
what is all plastic and what is all metal on the gun?
The internals are metal. Also the trigger, takedown pins, magazine release, safety selector and bolt release. Pretty much everything else is plastic.
I was looking at getting one of these but read on the reviews that the co2 leaks in it. Can you confirm or deny this??
I have six magazines for this particular rifle. Not one of them have leaked co2.
Is the muzzle threaded? I have a fee airsoft mock suppressors that would look sick on it
I wish it was but unfortunately it is not.

Bruh Amazon unless yr state don't allow it

Yes, additional magazines are available.

Needs a micro dot instead of eotech
The eotech has been removed and replaced with a Holosun HS403R.
Dust cover doesn’t open, BS. Can’t put a supressor on it, BS. Making cheap parts, BS. Mag has screw holes, BS.
I'll admit it does have a lot of faults but it is still a fun little rifle to shoot...especially when converted to full auto.
pathetically underpowered
I will agree that it has a lot of downfalls along with a low FPS but it's not bad as a training gun.
