Then he proceeded to play all these levels and make YT-Videos of it (if I have to guess about 300 levels). Since he wasn’t doing YT full time, it took him about two years to clear every single one of those levels. When he began this project, he was a beginner and now he‘s actually pretty decent. To be a valid level for this project, either in the title or in the description must be written „Kedos“. So if you see another level with somewhere written „Kedos“, now you know the background story of it. (And for all german speaking people: I can really recommend watching him and the series, his content is pretty funny)

His problem is he gets overly invested in levels that are life drainers instead of just skipping them. Basically once he can determine that a level is going to just drain his lives he needs to skip it.
He's skilled enough to survive on a low number of lives, and commiting to skipping as little as possible is much more fun. It just gets draining if you skip every level that won't net you positive lives.
He's speedrunning through stages because he can skip now. Not really a big deal unless he gets down to the 20s I think. It's also definitely much less stressful for him to play this way.

He probably doesn't care that much about the challenge, he knows he'll never complete it so if he loses oh well
