What a fun time in OKC! Thanks for featuring some great times to be had there. The fabrics are scrumptious! I can't wait to see the outcome on the plum wool and pink lining. It's a sensory overload! That's why I get overwhelmed in fabric stores because I want to touch every bolt. You had a great time, and thank you for sharing it with us. Cheers from Norman!!
I struggled with fabric overload myself. They have such a good selection and I want to pet everything. It took great restraint and chanting "you still have to pay for Christmas" to keep me from going wild. Now to start sewing it all up!
Thank you! I am so excited about this project. I have my list to sew for the rest of the year and now I am whittling away on it. I need some special interfacing so the coat will wait a bit on supplies. Coming soon!
Thank you! It’s fun to watch you walk through how you want to use the fabric and your excitement around it. You have great ideas. I’ve made the scrub hats you recently showed us and they are fantastic! Forgot to take photos so I’ll try to get her to send me some in use.
I am so glad you like the scrub hats. They finally got delivered to the doc and he also approved. Making more soon using up some of my scraps. Look forward to seeing your hats in use! I am heading to the sewing room now to get started on my huge pile of projects in waiting.
I had so much fun in OKC! I loved the Asian Market and fashion show. I'm jealous of your fabric finds and eagerly look forward to seeing them all sewn up!
What a fun time in OKC! I love the OKC fabric market. That wool has me drooling so much so I think a drive down the Turner Turnpike is in my future.😊 Can't wait to see what you make with it.
Oklahoma City looks like a neat place. I have never been there. Nice fabrics too. One thing though ... poutine = good. Most vegan dishes = good. Vegan poutine seems like a crime against all things Canadian.
Okay, I have to say I was surprised how good the vegan poutine was too. The seasoning was perfect. The one vegan in the group nearly lost their meal to the rest of us omnivores. OKC has surprisingly good vegan options. We won't tell Canada in consideration of neighborly relations.
Those wool fabrics took my breath away; absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to see the final product.
Thank you! I am so excited about this project! Gathering the rest of supplies now. Coming soon.
