Excellent design - like any bike or trike for handicapped or not, I am sure a motor assist could be added for those more trying hills. I am 52 and like riding my recumbent for pleasure, exercise and going to work, or on the local trails, for which hills are tedious and sometimes grueling without an e-assist. Fantastic trike. Cheers, Patrick
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET, as a 6'4" T-5 that looks fresh. The typical one-off gives me a huge bruise on my chest for days. This is a better design for yoeler. Nice work.
I just tried one of these for the first time today (see my channel), I thought it was amazing. Looking forward to trying it out some more and maybe getting one.
Hard to get them to America have customer that wants them, but no real discription on them about how much weight they will carry like 350# man and where can you carry a laptop computer or shopping needs? Is it built for the customer or one size fits all? What about someone 6'5" tall will they fit. Need more info.........
THis could literally save my life! i wish that i lived in the Uk so that i could get the zero interest payment plan. I'm on ssdi and i might not have enough time .....
The only thing I would do to this set up is a bit wider rear wheel. It looked like that one tried to sink in the mud a bit. A wider one would distribute the weight a bit better.
I need one of these, Iive in Sheffield UK. The hills mean I have to use a powerchair! Not getting much exercise. Where can I get one of these and am I able to fund it with DLA??
See this innovative design here you don’t have to purchase a new wheelchair. The attachment just bolts on an existing wheelchair and you ready to go Lever arm drive operated wheelchair -Elliptical wheelchair safe and convenient for any terrain. - TH-cam
I love this idea. I notice that the power stroke is push forward. I know you row a boat by pulling back so I assume that the average person can deliver more power pulling than pushing. But for a person that cannot use there legs this may not be true. Either way it is an amazing machine.
Hello, I am from Peru - Lima, one of my wishes is to feel the freedom to go out and get your wheelchair wheelchair for me, it seems very practical, I just don't think it reaches the price that each wheelchair has. since I am of low condition.
This wheelchair is $7,000 dollars plus and impossible to obtain for those that don't have insurance or who's insurance would not pay for such a wheelchair.
This video is unfair. It shows only a few meters uphill, then a mile downhill all way long. Looks to me the wheelchair is made for neverland where uphills do not exist. I want to see the rider do entire course again but in opposit direction!
Mountain biking is sometimes more focused on the decents then the acents. Handling the rough terrain under intense speeds takes a lot of skill. Some bike parks even have lifts that take people to the top of the trail, just to let them go down hill, like a ski resort. If this trike was designed to let dissabled people enjoy off road decents like a standard mountain bike then I would say it did a good job.
Now that is awesome....I take my hat off to the design and construction team

It appears to be an amazing wheelchair. I would like to see how it would perform off trail and in the woods as one would be hunting through the woods.

This wheelchair is also made in England and can be difficult to get.

great!!!
Doesn't show how easy it is to get in & out of? Looks like it'd be a little difficult to transfer into from a regular wheelchair.
Хочу такую, но у нас не продают таких
good wheelchair
Knew it would be expensive!!

I agree with you. I would be even more impressed if they would've shown a kid or a woman making it work as well.
Trampled Under Feet That guy is kind of skinny, I don't think a woman would have any more trouble.
मै दिनेश कुमार सोनी हूं मै विकलागं हुं मुझे सईकील की जरूत है कैसे मिले
The fact the thing didn't flip over going down hill impressed me!
