This is sort of unrelated, but when I read that, I imagined Chugga saying to Masae in a Prof. Oak voice: "are you a boy or a girl?" followed by Masae slapping him for the bad joke and the questioning in general of whether or not she can be considered a woman... because we all know Masae has more *Man Points* than Chugga. In fact, I dare say she stole them all. :)

In the Japanese version, I think the music for the Fawful battle uses the track from the Cackletta fight in the university rather than Popple's track.

8:00 When I was a kid, and I played this game, I thought you had to break those with the hammer, which you CAN do. I made it to the box like two times in two hours, and actually succeeded. It was only when I replayed it about a year ago when I realized how foolish I was.
Like when I originally played it and gave up in Chucklehuck's bicycle pad because I forgot to press right on the control pad.

That's the one, yes. Everyone makes mistakes, and Chugga is usually pretty good at spotting them and correcting them himself, so I just wanted to bring this to light.
Well, he did misspeak before flashing Mario on screen saying Luigi and bit Mario I think the correction just came a bit late.

oh my gosh. on the obstacle at 7:55 i never thought to use fire hand as a kid cause there were walls. I'd walk and hammer each wall down, and I could only make it with like .2 seconds left. I'd be like "why the heck is this part so dang hard?"

Am I the only one who's super happy he mentioned how BRUTAL Wendy Koopa's castle was? Not even counting her horrible boss fight with all her clones and those stupid fireballs all over the place! It would take two hours to get through the thing, and we'd always high five and hug the family member who actually accomplished the task.

Found out in my own testing at one point that the Koopalings' spinning attack is one of very few in the game that can potentially stun/dizzy the Bros (another being Bob-Ombs blowing up on you). That alone makes it threatening as being unable to defend for several turns will quite quickly kill you.
You know, Wendy has some exclusive moves where she uses the hoops on her wrists to attack and you have to jump through them like that one attack the magikoopas use.

Wendy's in New Super Mario Bros. Wii was always the hardest of the Koopalings for me. The mechanic for her boss fight is really jerkish.

the part where you killed Wendy and explained about the eye just reminded me about the episode of SpongeBob where Krabby Patty's we're banned and when Plankton was trying to get in SpongeBob's house for a Patty, when he grabbed the ladder and went up to the little rectangle think where Patrick was, it reminded me about how Patrick's eye size stayed the same, but his puples where small.

The way I use peppers is I use the Green Pepper first with one Bro, and a Red with the other. It cancels out the weight status as well as giving enough turns to do some massive damage.
It was at that moment that Nate had realised that a family holiday was not the best time to schedule things.
I too thought this was the last time we would see Fawful. But the other 2 games surprised me, especially Inside Story.
I wish Chugga showed off the trick to lowering fawful's defense.You usually can't since he's flying so the attack misses, but if you purposely screw it up on the third prompt you'll hit him and lower his defense.
On my first playthrough of the game, in addition to a few other first-time mistakes, I also got stuck for a while on the part where you have to light Bowser candles by standing on Luigi in a barrel and using Firebrand, because that was the only time in the entire game where doing so occurs, there isn't even a secret loot area involving it, kind of like the thing with electrocuting a water-filled Mario to water Piranha Plants, a thing only done earlier in the area and in a secret loot area.
How very convenient I was just watching the run away guys play dokapon kingdom and then I get a Notification that cugga uploads ... SWEET

Two Fun Facts:
-Wendy does have a unique attack in which she throws rings that close in around the bros. and you have to jump at the right time.
-Time Bob-Ombs do 398 damage, so if you somehow have more than that, you won't get knocked out.

Giving a big warning now for people. Be prepared to rage at this up coming fight. I usually beat the game at a higher level then chuggaa does and I still struggle.
You know those spike wheel things seem a bit like some form of a grinder in a way. I mean they look like they are designed to grind the Mario Bros into dust after all. Gotta love how fast you killed Larry with those peppers in play though. It just proves one thing. Attack buffing items can be so incredibly over powered in some games.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is my favorite gba game of all time and it's my third favorite Mario and Luigi game and also i really like the Koopalings and i also like fawful in this game
You can counteract the negative effects of the red pepper by eating a green one, you can use a refreshing herb too.
also, side note, wendy can attack with her magic bracelets. if your hit by them, they will cause random gravity to happen occasionally.
Seeing Fawful booted from Bowser's castle like that reminds me of "The Cat Returns"... Fawful's mode of speech makes me think of Natoru a bit as well.
Fun fact (which you probably already know tbh): Wendy is the only of these fights that does not add anything new to the table (concerning the Koopaling's attack patterns).
Iggy has the fireballs and spin attack.
Morton has shockwaves.
Lemmy has clones.
Ludwig has the shell attack.
Roy has the Time Bob-Omb.
And Larry has his racket.
But Wendy doesn't get any new attacks.

The student not wanting the teacher to leave him again, willing to become her toady again if it meant hatching evil schemes together again. Their relationship is kind of touching in both works. Check them out if you can find them. I know one of them is called The Chaos Trilogy, but I don't remember the other's title off-hand. Even if you don't, Fawful fanfic is always entertaining and a joy to read because...y'know, it's Fawful.
Only one or two more videos left before post-LP material. Next time, what's this, one more obstacle between Emile and Bowletta? But what or who could it be? Can Emile overcome such an obstacle with as much ease as he did Fawful? Stay tuned!

Each Koopaling inherits the abilities of the one before it. They don't *share* attacks, they *gain* attacks and become harder and harder. It's too bad the Koopalings don't have enough health to show all of them off though.

I don't blame Chugga for being scared about the Fawful battle.
I remember, back when I was a kid, I had such a tough time with that boss. It took me dozens of tries before I actually beat him. Though, I took great joy out of re-watching the cutscene before the battle, as tedious as the task had became.

Something to note about the Fawful fight: Without the GBH sp equipped, he gives a Golden Mushroom when defeated, which are in limited supply in this game. Just throwing that out there.

Fun fact: While I was playing along, through the chuckle bean montage, I accidently turned off the game and had to start from episode 11 again.
