R2 already fears neither gods nor men, and here you are enabling him. we're all kriffing doomed.
also the aesthetic is perfect, the addition of the rebel colors really accentuated that "homemade battle armor upgrade made by scruffy imperial school dropouts" vibe. i can totally imagine this on the cover of a SW Extended Universe book.

The design is really impressive. I love drawing original characters but can't ever think of details to keep them from being too plain. All of your small "form over function" details are awesome.
Greebles. Greebles everywhere. Or buckles/belts/pockets/etc. Blank spaces stress me out so I fill them with whatever looks remotely reasonable!
Reminds me of how he did the "Sith Buster" absolutely gorgeous

Awesome! I love it. The concept is missing in SW. Droids that can adapt with robotic parts to become something more then the original form. R2 being the feisty butt kicking droid he was with the robotics it's takes it up a few notches. Since he likes to zap things maybe some sort of electro-blaster or something built into the robot form. This was a inspirational video for me thanks for sharing!

I love how you didn't reuse the stair set that you had already made but went out of your way to not only give R2D2 some sexy ass limbs but a whole new set to stand upon with pride. Just brilliant.
A new set of limbs deserves a new set of stairs.
This is the perfect example of a blursed image. It looks awesome, but it’s also weird because it’s not what you’re used to. Amazing job, man! They should make an action figure of this!

Reminds me a lot of the Ogre Class Titans in Titanfall 1 and 2, which is probably the best inspiration one could have for this!

DUDE! This is awesome! You should Do one for Chopper from Rebels! And since he already is a Mismatched Mess of astromech droid parts, perhaps when giving him arms and legs they’re like, from other established droids like some kinda Kitbashed, Frankenstein Chimera droid XD

Very cool idea executed well! I enjoy your videos because I like your quirky humor accompanying the process of building and painting, and I can relate to your approach because half the time when I paint my miniatures? If I don't have a scheme to adhere to, I tend to just jump in head first and grab paints and start slinging them madly until something comes out that makes me say either "Yeah, I like it!" or "UGH WHAT WAS I THINKING?!" I'll leave it to you to figure out which one I say more often! New subscriber as of now.
