Your time in Celadon City leads you into an establishment filled with slot machines and prizes; however, you uncover a secret staircase and find out the truth--an underground hideout! Traversing its halls seems to take days; if only you had a quick way out... This piece captures the joyous nature of an innocent gaming house while concealing the darker truth underneath the facade. I hope you enjoy my rendition of these themes!

Thanks so much! I had to get a little creative since the 2 pieces are so different from each other

At first I got some big Pokémon Stadium vibes from the Mini-Game selection theme, this carries the same jovial tone as that one did and it fits well for the Game Corner. Then 1:28 came and as the brass providing the bass line fell out of tune I was wondering if there was some kind of mistake--until it continued to drop and the cheery melody faded away. THEN the Rocket Hideout theme began and it all made sense. Nice transition between the two, and overall a very faithful rendition of two very different themes.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked that transition; my idea was that the bass line would slowly descend to mimic the character descending the stairs into the Rocket Hideout. Then, the facade of the Game Corner fades away and you're left with the player's "footsteps" down the stairs. At least, that's how I thought about it!
