These talks, in Bengali, are based on Valmiki Ramayana, the oldest sacred epic of the world. It is essentially a religious work couched in the story of Sri Rama. The goal of the poet was to present various philosophical, ethical, moral and mythological themes in the grab of Sri Rama's story.
