In Coral Gables at Hallet Pontiac in 1966, I bought this EXACT GTO Silvermist exterior, Commodore Blue interior, post car, Rally II rims, roll up windows, no A/c, power steering, reg drum brakes,,factory painted black pinstripe on body line. I loved that car! It was $3,300 I was a sophomore in college and working to pay for my GTO. This is the first one I have every seen with exact color combo as mine was as almost all silvers came with black interior.
There's SECKS, and then driving one of these cars is a VERY close second!! ( TH-cam kept auto-correcting and wouldn't let me text the word but you get what I mean.!!!) I was 4 almost 5 yrs old in 1966, when my Dad took my Mom and I to the local Pontiac dealership and bought us a NICE Turquoise w/ white interior LeMans coupe with the 326 2bbl. It was just BEAUTIFUL!!!! We had that car until I was almost 15, but unfortunately my parents split and Mom got the car, but soon had to sell it for something more economical. I desperately BEGGED her to keep it one more year until I turned 16, but it had to be sold, and so it was not meant to be..... ...'66 GTOs like this one you have brought back that memory for me it's such a GORGEOUS car!!! I've had 58 vehicles in my life so far, including a dozen or so muscle cars but never a GTO. But on the upside, I DO currently own a '69 Buick Skylark GS 350 that I enjoy driving!! Love what you guys do there, and thoroughly enjoy watching you guys in your all your videos. I'm retiring in about 3 more years, so maybe I'll be ready for a GTO then, and I'll have to come down and visit you!!! Thanks for all you do, you guys ROCK!! So best wishes to you and your crew for the holidays and the new year!!! Sincerely, George B, your biggest fan from the Boston area!!! 😊
The silver blue looks great, what a nice cruiser, Chad I want the rallyes back on it, with red lines, that`s a beauty, guys. I love the fact that you fix the important stuff before you sell it, heater and wipers should work on a $60k car.
The two-speed unit is a Buick turbine 300 the Buick made for Oldsmobile and Pontiac. There were last in 1966 More automatics in 67 because of the Hearst dual gate shifter latched to a Turbo 400. If that car has a powerglide it's been replaced
😢 Not a Real GTO,,😢 it's a clone. Somebody took a Lemans or tempest and changed it into a GTO. I have one and I am an Expert on the Pontiac GTO. I can prove it. Ask me how 😊
WRONG wheels should be 14"'; tires should be RED LINE'; left valve cover on backwards; pinstripe should be single line; hood should have internal cover; engine compartment dirty, rusty; 4-speed is needed; some internal components need replacing'; seat covers worn out; rest of the chrome marginal....definitely NOT worth that price!!

Beauty! Id drive it!
That silver with blue absolutely pops! Nice Nice Christmas present for me lol. I wonder how redlines would look?❤
You can't go wrong with a nice goat
Anybody know how common the two speed power glide was in the the 66s I have one just wondering?
😍😍😍😍
It's real, do some research before you make stupid comments
Absolute perfection!!❤
Not even close!
29,000 you believe that I'll sell you something 😂
It's not even a real GTG. it's a clone
Real GTO "242" in the vin @@fidlamben4905
F!cking beautiful
It is!
I owned a 66 GTO and this car is not a GTO u can tell by the tail lights on the GTO they r completly different
Well it's obvious that you have no idea what you're talking about! THOSE ARE 1966 TAIL LIGHTS!! (try again Bozo, or maybe you owned a Yugo!)

Yep I think maybe tempest price would be about right for a real numbers matching gto
GTO is not ever a post car. Never really
Turbo 300.
Real GTO! The 242 in the vin # tells you that
Not true you they made post GTO's & this is one of them@@fidlamben4905
