Love these ole tractors with their high togue and slow revving engines.
I know this man personally, he's a neighbor of mine and EVERYTHING he has is top notch, he's had a few auctions to reduce his inventory and had 100's of molines at one time, super nice guy and great personality
We have 1968 Vista . Love that tractor ! Was first introduced to MM tractors working for a farmer in Reynolds Indiana back in the late 1980's . MM 670 , 1050 , UB , Vistas and A4T 1600 . He only ran MM tractors , and as a kid in high school at the time I fell in love them as well .Cool tractors !
And possibly the best tractors!

My dad did all the final tests on this model and presented it to the board of directors for production. He would be prod to see it running today. C. Barth
thats a real nice one. i ran a vista for a while and they are nice to drive and had plenty of power
MM was the only tractor line not represented by a dealer in this county. I always liked them, but they were a rare sight around here.

My grandpa used to load those up on the train at the Mpls plant.
There were 4 front axle options front wheel drive , ibeam, light duty row crop, and the best looking one was the heavy duty row crop front axle with 8 bolt wheels.
My Dad put the final touches on the drivers deck. Also did the testing before final production.
Uncle still uses a G1000 wheat land on the farm, the "long life engine" lettering on the hood wasn't kidding.

!the mini molines never seemed to catch on here where I live but I've heard they where outstanding tractors!

From what I was told,,
Tractor preference varied in different parts of the US.
I live in NE PA. and a local farmer friend had a MM, it was his pride and joy.
To Big for the Small Farmers
We sold them. Lots of 900s. Some 1000s one vista and one 1355. Sold many Olivers 1555s. 1655 1755 2255. Also some articulating 4wds. Trouble was they didn’t have the dollars or enough sales to keep up. Like brakes in oil, synchromesh trans, direct injection diesels, quiet cabs, etc. Deere and Case got way ahead with cabs and power shifts plus other features. We did well though with many lines MF Versatile and many short lines. When Deere and Case couldn’t get enough equip to sell. We could get lots from different manufacturers.

One of the most powerful and durable tractors ever produced! Creme didn't always rise to the top. Sadly for American Agriculture.
He said it was at the top of the heap in 1968 for power. It was a big dog alright, but it wasn't the top dog. It had 110 HP. The 1968 Oliver 2050 had 118 HP, and the Oliver 2150 had 136.5 HP. That was leaving the G1000/G1000 Vista seriously in the dust, as great a tractor as it still was.

The g1000 and the Oliver 50 series wasn’t even the same series tractor.
You could literally cruise the vistas.
Our local dealer said back when the G1000 vista came out, it was used to plow at Wisconsin Farm Progress days, the MM guys were pulling 6 bottom and thought they were the heavyweight kings, until Allis Chalmers pulled in with the 220 and 7 bottoms

moline& Oliver were very poorly engineered tractors. 2-150 white didn't even have a hydraulic priority valve. John deere had a priority valve on every tractor starting with new generation of power
a 2-150 almost killed me cause no hydraulic priority valve. 585 Moline engine is junk. a 4630 or 1466 could walk all over it
585 means 5 hours in the field& then blown up& 85 hours in shop getting rebuilt. get a 1370 or spirit of 76
Question for all the Moline enthusiasts. Did the G Vista 1000 tractors have a flaw in the rear end bull gears? Every farmer in our area that had a G1000 pulling a chisel plow had rear end problems.
I remember seeing these tractors abandoned in the field where they stopped pulling.
No, the vista had a heavier rear axel. So the G1000 vista has very slight rear end problems.
Which city were these manufactured n what years pls?

white 2-150 does not have a priority valve. I know for a fact. 2-150 almost rolled& killed me
