do we have to know all these statistics? in one of my past papers, i had a question about statistics where you had to fill in the statistics, but in the book, it doesn't say that particular statistic anywhere. is there a sheet of statistics that i am missing?
Sorry for the delay! You do need to know the statistics, but be aware that these change over time (meaning older past paper questions may give different answers). The stats included in this video are up to date as per the OCR syllabus. Also, you don't need to know them exactly... a general idea of the percentage of men & women who regularly participate in physical activity should be sufficient. I hope this helps 👍🏻
there was also a question in a past paper where you had to order the most popular physical activity. in the book it says the top is 1. walking 2. swimming 3. yoga, dance, aerobics 4. cycling 5. cue sports. but then there were boxing and cricket or something added as well, in the question, as well as the ones given in the book. So, are we meant to know the order of other sports, or was it getting us to use what we already know about the order of the 5 in the book, and then work out what would make sense, using our common knowledge?
