The harsh vocals are not just angry as people usually think they are. This song is pain and sorrow. But it is lifted by hope. My eyes get a little steamy at the entire “someone will love you” part. For everyone who has been hurt or who has lost, this song can be both an expression of grief and source of comfort.
Really love how she uses her gritty vocals for this song. Most of the time, the grit gives more of an energetic or aggressive vibe. But Adrienne really knows how to subtly change the tone to make it sound like a sad haunted cry, It's a real curveball.
They’ve got a few tear jerkers in their discography. Or maybe I’m a crybaby. Lol. Have fun checking out their music! (They also have plenty of non-crying songs to enjoy, of course)
I met Seven Spires this March. Adrienne was super lovely. Before the meeting actually started, they arrived by a car and she hugged me and one other fan who like me happened to stand between her and the door. I then asked each member to sign me a page of my autograph diary. At first, I thought it's taking Adrienne some time to write hers only for me to realize that she's drawing Seven Spires logo into the diary. When it was Dylan's (the new touring drummer) turn, he complimented it, not realizing that Adrienne drew it. Did she draw you Seven Spires logo too?

Adrienne is one of the few who can make growls sound sappy.
OSN you are completely with yourself in the reactions - authentic - wonderful. Keep it up. 👍🏻
As an outcast my whole life I never related to a song more than this. Balled like a baby

Really love this new song, the album is shaping up to be fantastic. Enjoyed your reaction too! \m/
