That's so cool that they have designated horse trails through your neighborhood. It's nice that you have those trails to ride. It's sooo good for performance horses minds to trail ride. They also learn how to use themselves better. Beautiful scenery in California!!

Also, Furry not liking the sandbags cracked me up because we have a horse at my university who is the same way. This horse is the most chill thing on planet earth, like you could set a bomb off next to him and he would just keep on dozing. We use him all the time for therapy because he's so chill. I could preform an entire Broadway dance routine on his back and he would just sleep. But, the second someone crushes a plastic water bottle in his presence, he flips his lid. So that's a common speech around the barn "Sandman's great, just don't have a plastic water bottle."

First time watching you. I am absolutely blown away that your city has sand sidewalks for the sole purpose of horseback riding. I am more than jealous! This should be how cities are built!!!
Needs the be accessible to every person growing up so they can be it is out grow it. But will understand nature and horsemanship.

I was on a trail ride earlier today and there was sand in one of the trails so my horse starts scratching it with his foot and then he rolls🙄 my brand new saddle now has a fold in its stirup😭

That snake was awful glad to see pistol nor fury freaked out over it i have seen alot of horses get spooked from a snake glad yours did not and you had a safe ride...what kind of snake was that? Did you learn your horsemanship from someone or did you learn from your own experiences?
I took lessons as a kid off and on from 7-9 years old. After that I only ever had 3 lessons. I learned a lot from experience and studying riders I looked up to then created my own style. I work for a cutting horse trainer for 2 years right before I started training client horses. Learned a lot from him just working there

Hi I’m new to the horse world and last night I went to ride some and I felt so confident in myself and like my anxiety disappeared for the 2 1/2 hours we was riding . So I’m thinking about getting one to trail ride. Does anyone have any advice?
If your new to the horse world, And not very experienced I would wait until you were more experienced if your thinking about getting a horse. I'm not sure if you were talking about getting a horse but if you are just wait until your more experienced! 😁
Jennifer Murphy I don’t think I can get one I have enough money but my parents said before if me and my twin earned enough money we could get one but they backed out of the deal when we did so I’m just gonna go for walks on our farm but thank you anyways
I know this is old but for any other new rider wondering that might come across your post - make sure you’re solid on your basics: walk, trot and canter. And then make sure you have a responsible rider going with you for your first trail ride.
How much does the horse you on weigh and can i ride your horse
Omg I am not gonna say the city cuz I'm sure u dont want me to (on my dads account btw) but I literally used to live there til I moved here to Missouri I used to live near the circle k I used to love riding on the horse trails we used to go around our whole block riding. You dont mind if I say the city do u?

Trillion Safire Its so fun, I’m taking lessons tmr. Some tips are to do what your trainer/guide tells you and don’t spook the horse. Lol

I cant ride horses either right now!! The horses I ride are at my great grandmas house a few minutes away but my great grandpa just died so I haven't ridden in a while I'm giving her time.

Haha I'm scared of horses!! I ride horses at my great grandmas farm a few minutes away from me...the first time I ever rode I was very nervous my uncle helped me on and he taught me how to rode I loved it very much I still do! The problem was the behavior with the horse he is a bit mean he took off with me once and I almost fell he tried to jump over a fence I never jumped he tried to go threw a electric fence with my on and he took me threw the roads without me asking...he scared the heck out of me, I still believe in him and I think he can get better with it..but I do not think it's just him I believe it's also the person riding him a lot that would be me and my great grandma I do think I could have done A LOT more things for him not to do that my great grandma does not put up with his attitude at all that may be one if the reasons. I do feed him and brush him and tack him when I'm there it doesnt scare me it's just the fear of him doing something like that again but I dont let that get to me I still love riding!!!

I bought both these horses unbroke, I did all the training on my own. It can be hard to find a good trail horse around here for a good price
