- if your fire bowl is rusted out on your fire pit measure it and get a mixing bowl from a restaurant supply store, I am now going to get this powder coated and it will be good as new!
I'm faced with the same problem. I'm going to try that😊
So glad I found your video. I've had this table for over 15 years and the bowl is now completely rusted out but the table still looks and works great. I surfed the internet for a replacement bowl and of course found nothing. I'll be looking for that stainless steel bowl now. Thanks for your great video.
I have the same exact table and same exact problem and have been looking for this insert bowl for a while with no luck. Perfect solution, thanks for sharing.

Brillient idea. I would never have thought of a mixing bowl as a replacement. You saved me a lot of time trying to find one. In fact I didn't even know the manufacturer of my fire pit but Sean Conway Tiverton is it. I just bought one for $19 plus $14 shipping. Better than a whole new fire pit.
Great idea. Like others, I have the exact same table and the bowl is starting to rust through. Inexpensive fix! Thanks!

From the guy who first explained the internet to me...you still got it, Keith.
shortest how to video ever... love it!
Genius- 🙌🙌💪
thanks! Just ordered a big bowl today ;)
awesome! please subscribe!
@@KeithChristensen done and "belled", good sir! Thanks for bringing us a great idea, saved myself easily 100 bucks by not buying a new pit :)
Genius! Worked great for me!
I read your comment about getting the bowl powder coated and called a company that does powder coating. When I explained my project, the owner said not to powder coat the bowl. It is better to just leave it stainless steel. I have the same patio collection as yours in the video with the same rusted out bowl.
yes do NOT power coat the bowl, just the rest of the fire pit
Yep just found you guys!!! Same firepit...just burnt through!!!! Thanks for the solution!!!
Mine is square. Have no idea what to replace it with.
I did the same thing, worked for me as well.
awesome! another firepit saved! please subscribe!
awesome idea... I have the same problem. everything held up wonderfully except the pan.
can the mixing bowl handle the heat of the logs? or compressed log?
I burnt some pine in it and it was massively hot, no issues with the bowl but my pit actually bowed lol, please subscribe!
you saved me thanks :)))))))
Great Idea! I have the exact same table as marketed by Martha Stewart Living. Same exact problem with the rusted bowl. After scouring the internet I luckily happened upon this link. Can you tell me if the table lid sits flush with the new stainless steel bowl?? It is a bit tough to see in the video. Thanks!
I have the same problem and same table!
well fix it up :) please subscribe!
How has the stainless steel bowl held up with burning firewood in it?
Still working great!
I will try it, just worried it will warp with the heat and fall through 😬
I’ve had mine like this for 2 years, no issues! Even burned a whole stump and Swedish torch, no warping at all. Drilled 3 drain holes in mine for rain drain, that wasn’t easy though
That's awesome
Could you maybe leave a link to where you bought the bowl? I'd buy a new firepit but I love the one I have!
I just went to the local restaurant supply store

@@KeithChristensen Whats the name of the store? How do you find one nearby?
@@Duxa_ just do a search for restaurant supply store near you
Where do you find a bowl the right size? I have the same fire pit and same 22" diameter.
Any Restaurant Supply store should have it, please subscribe :)
Did you have to treat it before burning?
Rebecca Pearce nope no treatment needed
Or a wok.
