I really love that community setting and the ladies relaxing outside ❤. Those houses are functional, they kept the place nice with hedges and trees😍. In some countries people are selling mansions and build tiny houses ❤️
You can say that again I even wanted to sit and chat all day with those ladies. It was humbling experience everywhere I visited during that short time was amazing. Yes, indeed i have also noticed people optioning for tiny and unusual housing. Thats why i love camping and outdoors and i wouldn’t mind a low cost home environmentally friendly home😊
Very nice ,beautiful Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 , I’ve lived in Kariba but I had never seen musana Wenzou before , I’m delighted to see we have this type of houses in Zimbabwe ,you really start to appreciate the beauty of it all .
Thank you for showing us Musana Wenzhou. I recognized someone who looks like Mukoma Recorder in your video if my memory serves me well. We lived together in Highfield in the early 1980s. May you confirm whether he is the gentleman you were with when you visited the lady with the old sewing machine?
Thank you for watching and for your comment. I will check about the gentleman and confirm as some were new to me. Maybe if you specify the clothing I may be able to confirm for you.
The dome shaped “musana wenzou” dwellings are somewhat eerie & weird….isn’t it high time they’ve reached their sale-by-date, just wondering…!? I’ve seen similar dwellings in Rimuka, Kadoma🇿🇼! So each dome houses two families; wondering if there enough room to swing a cat inside them!? Surprisingly enough; there are happy families residing in them as witnessed by loud music blurring out of them & even a satellite 📡 dish on the dome-shaped roof of one of them😮😢!
You are so right these houses should be demolished or maybe kept for history only but people should be housed in better accommodation this day and age. Let’s keep praying for our country 🙏🏾

@@MariaHamzThank you my sister. The gentleman is at 1:14 minutes of the video, the one in pink/purple shirt, shorts and sandals.
Msana wenzou in Kariba were constructed in mid 1950s by a company called Costain. Such houses are found in most towns eg Bindura, Victoria falls etc.
Thanks Farai for the information. Really appreciate and thanks for watching😊
How many bedrooms are in the Elephant houses???
I understand they are one bedroom houses. I didn’t film the inside for privacy😊
