    That worked surprisingly well.

I was honestly completely shocked and felt silly that I try to any other way the year before. I was extremely pleased with not needing to build a box or have anything special, most totes don't have a clear lid (at least in my walmart) so I got the idea to just invert the box and have it be a little solar oven by itself. I think I'm going to come up with a improvement and spray paint the bottom of the lid and the pan black. I honestly had semi low expectations for the paper towel being a decent filter but I'm extremely pleasantly surprised. I'm probably going to donate all of my pots and pans back to goodwill

These are my favourite type of vids, I may never use this information, but just the way you make it with all re-used items to achieve something that people pay too much for all the time is great!!

Awesome, thank you! I appreciate the words and I also encourage you to get into beat keeping if you can. Even in the heart of new york city they have a beekeepers association and there's a lot of urban people there that do that. And I totally agree I try to reuse everything, hence why we had a freezer lasagna tray as the catcher. This stuff is simple and should be attainable to everyone, even though I can go out and buy the fancy stuff there's something fun and wholesome about just doing it yourself with junk around the house.

Say I have a frame that got messed up by wax moths. Can I put that in other and will it melt off of the frame?

Loved this vid, using the suns energy, seeing what you got from it!! Continue sharing your fractal!
Also, whats the song that played for your outro?

I'm not sure entirely, I'll have to go see if I can find the name and I'll get back to you. If I don't keep bugging me and I'll get around to it eventually I might forget. Yeah the sun is crazy, I'm looking at trying to heat my pool and spa and hot water for my house. Using direct thermal energy from the sun is like 80 or 90% efficient, the downside is having enough capacity inside to get through multiple cloudy days up to a week. That being said solar water heaters are used all over the world and I grew up with many of them on the roofs in shanghai.

This is quite a good design. It is inexpensive. It has the transparent material all over so it is roughly as efficient at any time of day. Requires no joinery or panes of glass etc. It will fit several deep frames. It isn't delicate at all.

It was one of the best decisions I've made was to switch to using this kind of a wax melter! Results of super cheap to make! We've been actually cleaning and cycling are wax from this year already.
