Maybe the t in late and the t in too could overlap better if some of your inhale on the third beat just a few measures before were cut from the recording?

I hear distant echoes of inspiration from the musical area that I also like - with roots in the seventies and eighties - but everything here is fresh and unpretentious. Love it! Keep it up! It's not the kind of music I listen to on a daily basis, but I'll definitely be coming back to it because I like it a lot. Just like to "Between..." All because of Devin ;) .
