It's funny, I can never seem to bring myself to watch anybody else's knot tutorials. These are the very best. Though I only have access to some junk, knock off wannabe paracord from the wal mart boat section, everything I've made has served it's purpose, from nice looking gifts to useful tools, such as the utility pouch and (I love this name) The Zombie Apocalypse Bracelet.
Couldn't you do three cross weaves first then the bigger one then the two last ones in that order to make it look like the dagger is pointing down and you can make the extra cord into a necklace?
I love watching these videos! However, when the piece is completed and the 'tightening/adjustment' is done, I do wish a few more seconds were spent on that step. Congtrats!
oh i like this.. found something new to play with .. thank you for share and teaching.... paracord and your youtube channel lol has helped me stop smokeing....
Thanks a lot for this model. What a amazing stuff. I really, really admire you !!! May I ask you a question ? I got a problem when I tried to do this model. My production kept twisting when I finished it. How can I get a perfect form like you in this video ?
@Thistledowne Actually, I'm thinking that while difficult it might be possible to leave a pre-twisted bight to each side and pass the other end across to snake weave out and back (as though two pieces of rope). Might disrupt the aesthetic right at the crossing to send the cord across... perhaps one on the top face and one on the bottom. Any thoughts? I'll have to try it.
Hey J.D. just wanted to say hello, and ask a question. Have you ever tied a celtic hammer out of paracord ? If so,do you have a video on it ? Richard from Dallas,Tx...
awesome but can u tell me where to get para cord cheap? i realy want to do this sounds awesome but no paracord is it posible to do it with rope? and can you show how to ajust the dagger to be firm?
Start from the beginning of the knot (the loop where the ends of the rope exit) and slowly feed it back through the knot, working out all the excess rope.
Hola, porfavor me gustaria si fuera posible que los tutos los pudiera traducir en español , empiezo hacer manualidades y me interesan las tuyas .Son muy interesantes. gracias ,espero respuesta loli
You need your own PBS show. Every time I watch one of your videos, I think of some practical use. Much luck and success to you with your book!

Excellent: Might you have a modification of this knot to create a cross/crucifix? Many thanks.
love it! i like paracord, i really like that now you teach the knots with paracord :D
If you made the "hilt" at the other end this could make a cord crucifix necklace
Is the book going to be released in the UK, too?
Thanks, I've tried at this for weeks and could never figure out the best way to tighten.
I still can't figure out how to tighten. Help!
Can you tell me how to expand this knot, or perhaps tie a different knot, in order to make a cross?
Another awesome knot and a great video how-to.. well done

todos os seus trabalhos são incríveis .....agradecida por compartilha-los ....!
Would you use epoxy to fasten the ends cus if u used a lighter to melt it it would look messy right??
