YOU ARE AMAZING!! JUST WHEN I THINK IT IS SOMETHING I CANNOT DO, THERE YOU ARE!!!!!! WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKEN YOUR FULL CRICUT COURSE. I ALREADY SPENT A COUPLE OF HUNDRED DOLLARS ON A PREVIOUS CRICUT COURSE WHEN I FIRST GOT MY FIRST CRICUT AND THINGS WERE NOT EXPLAINING IN DETAIL LIKE YOU DO!! YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!! THANK GOODNESS FOR YOU TUBE AND JENNIFER MAKER!!!
I got my cricut 3 explorer as a birthday gift from my sisters in March 2024. I tried to use it 2 times and got no where, so here it sits waiting for me. In the meantime I have been learning to sew small projects and really enjoying them. I am hearing "SVG" all over the place and that I can actually have my cricut cut the pieces of the fabric out. That is what I hope to be able to learn. So far, it seems I am off to a great start with your first 2 videos. Thank you I have already learned some new things. You are a great teacher and wonderful speaker. I look forward to the getting to my goal with your help. Warmest Regards!
Thank you. I unboxed my Cricut Maker 3 this weekend. I make a few t-shirts for my grandchildren and am really hooked. I wanted to create my own project and I tried to figure out the png vs the svg. I was stumped. I did some research and came upon your You Tube project on layering a t-shirt. After researching your website, I found your tutorial on how to find and upload a file. This had made all the difference. Thank you again.
Jennifer thank you so much for these SVG tutorials. You have made it much easier to understand how to find and upload the files to be able to use them in our design software. I look to forward to learning even more from you. 🤗
Hi Jennifer, I am from the UK its 11.25am here in Kent. I purchased a Cricut Joy which arrived Monday of this week, I purchased with the view of printing a few label for my jars, but when I realised what is little machine can do I was hooked and have spent the last few days learning all about Cricut joy and playing around with the design space to get use to it which is challenging at times and have not quite nailed it yet, what I find difficult is that a lot of the videos out their for Cricut joy are all in America using a different looking design space, it may be because I’m using my phone as suppose to a computer yet to put that to the test, but I just wanted to thank you for your videos which have been the best ones I have found here in the UK. I think this little machine is going to dominant my life, I’m obsessed 😂 x
I’m loving all your How to’s. This as well as the videos prior are so very helpful! I watch videos on a creation I want to re create & didn’t know how to. Thank you so much for taking the time to put all this info together to help me to create projects❤️
Hello Jennifer! Your Tutorials are always helpful and greatly appreciated. I recently gave a lady that works in my doctors office your name for her 12 year old niece that got a Cricut for her Birthday. She was so excited. Can't wait to see what she makes. Thank you for everything Jennifer. Have a great weekend! Happy Crafting!🤗
Jennifer, you are the most helpful, personable teacher! It’s like you are answering my every mistake I’ve made with svg usage! How did you know I double click on the file and don’t get where I need to be!?! Your giggle is contagious.
Jennifer, You are an amazing teacher! Thank you so much for taking time to teach me how to use my Cricut and do amazing things with it. I going to make the side edge card that I downloaded tonight. Thanks again,
As a Silhouette owner, I have watched a ridiculous number of training videos for cutting machines and no one does as good of a job as you do, Jennifer. I know you mostly do Cricut tutorials, and I'm not suggesting you switch sides or anything, buuut... if you ever have the time, the Silhouette community really needs you! :)
I found this series to be very valuable. I learned a lot about svgs. I have downloaded a few files and have been able to upload to Cricut design space. I am going to watch the 3rd video now. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! I had the habit of double clicking and that’s where I would have trouble. I use vinyl and make handbags cutting with my Cricut. This will really help! Appreciate you so much!!❤
Thank you for another great video I was really confused when I bought my Cricut maker machine I bought a iPad at the same time but found I didn't know what I was doing until I found your videos so thank you.
Thank you for your help--I will need to watch over and over again-- a little too fast for me and I need a one step at a time. Thanks, Thanks, and Thanks!!!!
Hi Jennifer, watching 3 of your videos - WOW! - so well organized and presented, and attractive, easy to follow - thank you❣️ My main question is about machines. I’ve recently gotten into bag making using the faux leather vinyls and cork, canvas and other fabrics. Which of the cutters are the best for that purpose, if any? I can purchase acrylic templates but that could cost several hundred dollars anyway, and there can still be some inaccurate cutting around tight curves on small templates. I was thinking a cutter would be the solution? Your thoughts? I would appreciate your unbridled opinion. At the moment I’m not into paper crafts though I suppose that could change. I would really like to make a well informed decision on this.
Thank you for sharing your wealth of information. When you have several files with similiar names, is there some way to view it before uploading it to Design Space?
I have been using my cricut for a number of years and have used a variety of files and converted and adjusted files. This is the only one I haven't been able to work....
I just checked the file and it downloads, extracts and uploads to Design Space with no issue. You may need to restart your device and ensure that you are running all of the current software updates for your machine.🥰
I have been attempting to make your pop up tree on my Cricut Air 2. The files have crashed my computer and I have attempted a number of times to attach the flowers to their outline. I have been able to make every part cutting ready but NOT the "leaves" the whit part of the tree. I know how to use design space. I am BEYOND frustrated. I tried opening the file with less. It comes up as no longer available. The part with the two bigger pieces has a very large box. Making it difficult to seperate them to attach the flowers. I have tied doing them together and separately. Same with the two part piece and the smaller piece. No matter what I do they show up when I go to cut beside the pieces they are supposed to be attached too. Please help. Also there are so many pop up ads on your page it makes it difficult to see and access the patterns.
Which version of the file are you using? This was one of my earliest design files, and I hadn't learned how to make compound paths at the point I made it. I've created simpler versions of it and added them to the library. But I think the entire file needs to be optimized, too. But let me know which one you're using, or just try to download one of the simpler versions.
I went into the resource library and went to file 27. The file with 65 % less nodes shows 404 not found. I tried both the individual elements and The original. I attempted to use the svg merger. Too big for design space so I loaded each piece separately from the original file. I had extracted it before attempting to upload. The card base was fine. The trunk was fine but the apple tree branches sides and apple tree fence is where there was an issue. I appeared to attach the nodes to the outline. First of all they are close together so I couldn't just slide over them then attach. I had to shift add each node to the outline. I then attempted to attach. It said it attached but when I went to cut them the nodes were beside the out line. I attempted to attach them a number of times it still comes up with the nodes beside the tree. I windows.
A friend asked me to make her name and her fiancé’s names like confetti. They want to spread them around on their reception table. I am probably making this more difficult than it is. HELP!

If it is in a zip file you will need to extract before uploading. 🥰
@@JenniferMaker thank you so much❤
When you download a svg cut file and after extracting the zip file and go into it do you choose the stacked svg file when uploading to design space?
You need to upload one SVG file at a time to Design Space.

You can do that with text in Design Space and duplicate as many as you need.
