- Korda carp fishing legend Darrell Peck sets out on a mission to catch a day ticket 40lb carp. “In the early part of 2018 we were brainstorming in the Korda office of a series that I could do that I could really get motivated for. I want to be fishing for big carp. I want to be fishing for 40-pounders. That’s what I want to catch.” Watch as Darrell Peck visits UK day-ticket lakes Walthamstow Reservoir and Sandhurst on the Yately Complex… carp fishing venues that anybody could fish.
Darrell explains his baiting techniques, talks through his approach and tactics plus shows you the all important rig for this “really weedy lake”. This awesome film is full of carp catching tactics and Mr Peck catches some nice fish along the way, while always striving for that one big fish. “Really, in big carp fishing, as you learn a lake, you get better, you understand what the fish do, where they go, where the spots are, catch a few fish and then the big ones come. But by just going to one-off sessions, you never really build up any picture. So, when it happened at the second time of asking, it was totally unexpected.

But unfortunately here in Brazil it is difficult to practice it, it has to be in specific places like in pesqueiros (farms set up for sport fishing)

He mentions they have to leave because there’s a match on . So Korda are taking their time and being careful with nets and slings to look after the fish and then a bunch of match men are going to come and put them in keep nets . I do think match fishing and specimen fishing lakes should be kept separate . Save the matches for the single figures and F1’s . Once a lake starts getting full of fish over 20 lbs there Shouldn’t be matches

Solid angling, but a shame to see him wiping the flank of that leather down with the net- fish are coated in mucus for a reason, this slime contains antimicrobials an essential layer of defence from fungal infections for carp. It's bad enough when you see people doing it with their hand, but with the net is terrible, you should know better.

I’m having a debate with someone about distance is a rod length a rap or is a rap 2rod lengths ie from 1 marker stick round other and back
every wrap is 1 rod length everytime you go aroumd your stick u count

Day ticket only waters and he's been there so many days and strange that the lake is empty mmmmm smells like a set up come over to my res 27 acre 50 fish on average 2 fish come out a month no prebait allowed no night fishing no nuts let's see how you go load of edited film on a booked lake
