Probably the same reason I sometimes slip into a British accent he hangs around Americans. for context I watch a lot of British TH-camrs so I think it’s probably something similar because you can pick up accents if your around them enough so probably his American friends felt in a way I guess.

Not to be a linguistics fan but I’m pretty sure this is tricky to do. Accents are a lot of subtle changes, to nail it id assume takes quite a bit of studying and practice (though I know more about learning languages than dialects)

Actually, as a Brit and a linguistic fan, it’s a lot easier for a Brit to do an American accent than the other way round. I believe this is down to exposer, most media is American, and that American sounds are very pronounced and simple, you’re less likely to miss a sound that Americans pronounce differently because everything seams so dramatically pronounced.

the fitness gram pacer test is a multi stage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. the 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds line up at the start. the running speed will start slowly but increase each time you hear this signal. a single lap must be completed each time you hear this sound. 😂
