Now this is how to party 😅 girls and boys getting together and sharing the present moment with each other. .. these were pretty much the last generation to not have been yet affected by the affliction of camera phones and instagram story posts… just totally living in the moment and enjoying the vibrations. Every week party from saterday till sunday-afternoon! 😋🍻🍾💊😵💫😵💫👃😇. In my 40's now and dedicated father. Wild years far behind... What a time it was... It was crazy..👍
You know, it was almost the same everywhere in Europe. But after the towers disintegrated, things went down globally. There are nostalgic parties sometimes, but they're not the same. It looks like everything that was good back then is now gone. If I said I knew the reasons of the decline and the disappearance, you wouldn't believe me.
Agree, it was much better then. The world has changed a lot. Parties these days in Belgium almost always ends with fightings, people get stabbed, even killed. It’s insane. That level of aggression is sick. Even in traffic, on the street, in football stadions, etc.. Something really wrong with society..
Buffalo's made you a next level raver when you put them on. My dad was tasked with bringing a pair back to South Africa when he was visiting England and he absolutely nailed the colour choice. I felt on top of the rave world wearing those.
Most of them will have - today - kids. My son is now 17 years old. If he could see me on an video like this - we would have a complete weekend to talk about life and how i performed and had parties without drugs like this. But this is, what it was. I will never shame about this: Even today - my favorite Music is Trance, Jumpstyle, Rave, Hardstyle, Rawstyle, Schranz, Techno (in general). And this within the age of 45 young(!!!!!) years. I was 17 in 98, exactly the year it all started for me, i was amazed by the friedlyness,kindness and joy everybody had together, i will never forget this time. These years were the best of my life. I wish there was a time machine to bring me back there! The feeling for me was like going into some kind of parallel universe on the werekend.
It’s crazy that I was that age too in that year , sometimes my mind makes movies like this and all I can say is wow what a great time to be alive and how much the music industry has changed.

These days I go on party like 3-4 times a year but age takes its toll soon have to regenerate after a night for 2-3 days

Ich bin erst mit 40 zu dieser Musik rein zufällig gekommen. Die beste Zeit meines Lebens. Meine Kinder finden auch heute noch, ich hab es richtig gemacht....Leben, Tanzen, Spaß haben. In einem Monat geh ich in Rente....im Auto dreh ich auch heute noch volles rohr auf😂😂. Spaß ist wichtig ❤

Ich habe schon immer geglaubt mir ausgesucht zu haben genau dann geboren zu werden um genau diese Zeit mit zu machen. Anfang 20 zur Jahrtausendwende. Unvergessen. Am meisten habe ich es geschätzt, daß auf den guten Partys höflich miteinander umgegangen wurde. Man versuchte nicht zu rempeln, auch wenn's voll war. Das gemeinsame Gefühl und die Leidenschaft für die Musik stand ganz oben. Es war ausgelebte Freude und unbeschwertheit. Dieser Moment wo Du dieses Video schaust und die Hälfte der Scheiben mal besessen hast. Das Grinsen auf Deinem Gesicht, weil Du Dich an eine ähnliche Perty erinnerst. Eine Comminity in der Gewalt überwiegend abgelehnt wurde. Wo arm und reich auf selbem Level gefeiert und genau dieses Wort geprägt hat. Wo man Geschichten und Leute kennengelernt hat, die man so nie kennengelernt hätte. Storys die sich nicht wiederholen können. Wer dabei war konnte fühlen das es anders war als alles was vorher da war. Aber vielleicht sagt das jede Generation. Ist mir aber egal, weil ich es besser weiß.
The girls were the best. Almost all with their own unique style, clothes, haircuts and colours. Beautiful rave angels. Dancing and looking amazing. P.L.U.R The real world stopped. DJ Chipstyler knows how to put together some epic warehouse bangers.
We've definitely lost something. Especially the women. We weren't concerned with looking sexy at every possible angle. The clothes we wore to these events were meant to feel comfortable and free in. We could just be ourselves. Now there is a fixation on moments being Insta worthy, and on outfits that are super tight. Something is wrong
My God , The Music is still perfect. Today from here everybody is 46-50-55-60 years old. This is still magic. I was only 5 years old, but the best time ever are the 90's. The Music is so euphonious. This felling never come back. Today we don't have any tracks like this, what we can listen after 30-40 years.

I think it could depend on your geographical location, but sadly, it's nothing like it was back in the 90's. I'm so happy I caught that whiff of the late rave period, in abandoned warehouses and muddy fields.

Raves were as much a treat for the eyes as it was for the ears. The pleasure of walking and dancing amongst the pounding dance music and the wonderful clubbers. Pure.
No smartphones and big ego's, oh this brings back memories. I am 48 yrs old now, but I feel myself just moving along again with these vibes. The whole mentality in the 90s was so different. "We" went to these parties BECAUSE of the parties, because of wanting to have a good time and enjoy the music, not like on festivals these days where people only go to get drunk, make selfies, don't dance and film the whole thing on their smartphones. The only thing pity is that video quality from camera's (on these 90s festivals) were not that great of a quality, even though there were camera's that could easily film this on 35mm film and be converted to pure 4K quality. The whole period between roughly 1980 and 2000 was a million times better than between 2000 and 2020. The musical soul died in the year 2000. This will never come back, and exists only here on TH-cam and in our memories. Life in the 90s was great.

You'd find yourself just outside of town wondering if you were given BS directions...until you got to an abandoned warehouse or a grain silo and seeing other ravers walking to the same place. It was the best scavenger hunt prize on the planet. Good to know your generation is also getting a taste. Does your generation know what PLUR is? Is that still an important part of the culture?

Ich habe schon immer geglaubt mir ausgesucht zu haben genau dann geboren zu werden um genau diese Zeit mit zu machen. Anfang 20 zur Jahrtausendwende.
Unvergessen.
Am meisten habe ich es geschätzt, daß auf den guten Partys höflich miteinander umgegangen wurde. Man versuchte nicht zu rempeln, auch wenn's voll war. Das gemeinsame Gefühl und die Leidenschaft für die Musik stand ganz oben.
Es war ausgelebte Freude und unbeschwertheit.
Dieser Moment wo Du dieses Video schaust und die Hälfte der Scheiben mal besessen hast. Das Grinsen auf Deinem Gesicht, weil Du Dich an eine ähnliche Perty erinnerst.
Eine Comminity in der Gewalt überwiegend abgelehnt wurde. Wo arm und reich auf selbem Level gefeiert und genau dieses Wort geprägt hat.
Wo man Geschichten und Leute kennengelernt hat, die man so nie kennengelernt hätte.
Storys die sich nicht wiederholen können.
Wer dabei war konnte fühlen das es anders war als alles was vorher da war.
Aber vielleicht sagt das jede Generation.

My God , The Music is still perfect. Today from here everybody is 46-50-55-60 years old. This is still magic. I was only 5 years old, but the best time ever are the 90's. The Music is so euphonious. This felling never come back. Today we don't have any tracks like this, what we can listen after 30-40 years.

Wir tanzten unbeschwert Nächte lang durch. Egal wie gut man tanzen konnte oder nicht, es war sowas von egal. Einfach den Bass, die Melodie fühlen, eintauchen und bewegen.
Kein Handy das ablenken konnte... und Sonntagmorgen dann total erschöpft aber glücklich, zufrieden und mit einem unglaublichen positiven Gefühl eingeschlafen..

@@byron9630 It's nothing like it was back then sadly. It's a lot less real. I personally still go out and I've seen the whole scenery change. I think it could depend on your geographical location, but sadly, it's nothing like it was back in the 90's. I'm so happy I caught that whiff of the late rave period, in abandoned warehouses and muddy fields.

Raves were as much a treat for the eyes as it was for the ears. The pleasure of walking and dancing amongst the pounding dance music and the wonderful clubbers. Pure.

No smartphones and big ego's, oh this brings back memories. I am 48 yrs old now, but I feel myself just moving along again with these vibes. The whole mentality in the 90s was so different. "We" went to these parties BECAUSE of the parties, because of wanting to have a good time and enjoy the music, not like on festivals these days where people only go to get drunk, make selfies, don't dance and film the whole thing on their smartphones. The only thing pity is that video quality from camera's (on these 90s festivals) were not that great of a quality, even though there were camera's that could easily film this on 35mm film and be converted to pure 4K quality. The whole period between roughly 1980 and 2000 was a million times better than between 2000 and 2020. The musical soul died in the year 2000. This will never come back, and exists only here on TH-cam and in our memories. Life in the 90s was great.

@@SlippinJimmyyyy Back in my day they were underground too. Imagine hearing of a rave and getting directions bit by bit without access to the internet or GPS. You'd find yourself just outside of town wondering if you were given BS directions...until you got to an abandoned warehouse or a grain silo and seeing other ravers walking to the same place. It was the best scavenger hunt prize on the planet. Good to know your generation is also getting a taste. Does your generation know what PLUR is? Is that still an important part of the culture?
