This is a good war prot guide, I saw another disastrous video where they put all the talent points in the fury branch xd
The problem with those videos is not the build itself but the people saying it's the best build. The reason some tanks are going glad tank is neither for threat or tankyness, cause both are worse. They are going glad to max dps for parse and speedruns, which is totally legitimate but still niche and not good for normal raids lol
As a warrior main and best class in the world for me. For Sod avoid warrior. Runes are awfull as in flavor. Again just for SoD
They made warrior miserable trash in sod. It's amazing in classic. This guy is huffing copium so hard he's gonna od.
Survive through the game untill u get full block gear from raid, later on u can duel wield.
@@abdulrahmanshanouf8664 this is sod, we are tired of wating the whole game to be playable. Sham tanks have been op since lvl 10....

The Shield Slam change is awful. Tried Prot in gnomer last night and was struggling with threat compared to Fury
Do you think it is worth going 2 points into tactical mastery so we can instant cast mocking blow in case a taunt is resisted? Or do you think Vigilance puts us in such as spot where it really shouldn't matter overall? This also would sacrifice 2% crit by not going a full 5 into fury.

homunculi counts as 5 stacks of sunder for devastate's sake, it wasn't that way at launch but they fixed it

do you think the new rank7 pvp set toghether with the wsg and ab rep items will be enough to outscale deepprot? also what are your thoughts on thrash blade compared to the arcano shredder?
Arcano is capped at lvl 45 enimies so it's a no contest
@@robertsnead2319 absolutely agree. but at the time of me asking that question, the level cap of the arcano shredder wasnt known yet.
you cant say anything before they tune shield slam. This build is low dps and low threat vs a fury tank anytime.

All you guys saying fury tank is better than prot… I’m a deep prot warrior and I will pull 10 mobs and hold all aggro. And if I have alpha .. mages can do 700-800 dps without worrying about pulling threat. I’ve tanked warrior for 15 years. Prot is the best if you can figure it out. But you need key binds . Don’t have time to be clicking.
Link some logs and prove it. Your group did low dps or you are lying.
This will be the best spec for learning Sunken Temple week 1/2, after that everyone will go Arms/Fury.@@mattvitalis789

it is, eventually bloodthirst will outscale. By the time I feel a good chunk of people get there I'll swap to fury and make a guide too

As a question: if u take vigilance rune over shield mastery on head arent the 2 talent points in improved taunt kinda wasted or let me rephrase it better put somewhere else like the 4% more armor we could get for it?

It should be in my opinion because dual wield tanking has no place in tank fantasy.
Is the extra threat gonna work in gladiator stance?

I was gonna make a basketweaving video in korean for today as a joke but easter dropped right the day before and i didnt have the time
sword and board tanking needs to be the meta, a tank should not have to use two hander or two one handed weapons it makes no sense for a tank to have to do that, Sword and board should be the only meta for a warrior tank specifically and it makes me happy to play my warrior tank again because i havent touched it since i hit 40 phase 2 kinda killed my sod hype, but excited for the sword and board rune!
