      UAVfutures i had the comander v1 but i upgraded to fatshark hdo the comander are great but only lasted 6 months before i got problems i could not adjust contrast and brightness. I went to fatshark for the quality and customer service so id advise to go fatshark for them reasons now im not a well off person i just went without and saved all i could

      Fatshark Attitude v4 reds were great for the money, were as cheap as £180 recently with the DVR. Pretty good alternative to dominators but need the TrueD module upgrade.

    I got the flykey goggle over a year ago after watching u and grumpy trev talk about it..I LOVE THOSE GOGGLES best thing Ive purchased! I tried the fatshark hdo and the flykey to me is a better goggle and the comfort is way better than any fatshark that I’ve used...but then again we all have different faces right! Keep up the great work buddy!!

    I bought Falcon FG01 because of a review on this channel (and afterwards some others, that confirmed same conclusion).
    I had a cheap pair of box goggles before, my starting goggles, so it was a major upgrade for me.
    I am SO happy with my Falcons. I simply love them.
    The guys I fly with use fatsharks, and to be honest, I prefer mine, even though the spend $50 or $100 bucks more than me. They are comfortable, almost same features (don't have a head tracker, but otherwise same features), light and takes up to 4s batteries.
    I can highly recommend the Falcons to anyone. I have the RX5808 receiver and it works great.
    Thanks for all the good reviews on this channel :)

    Thanks for the great review video. I just got into FPV quadcopter flying this past April and your videos have been instrumental in my choices of gear as well as flying techniques and concepts. Currently I'm running a Taranis Qx7 controller and Eachine EV100s goggles after watching some of your other reviews and wanting decent beginner/medium gear that I wouldn't have to replace immediately. The Eachine EV100s have worked wonderfully for FPV flying and learning, but I've run into some frustrations after attempting to add the after market external DVR (not user friendly or intuitive at all). In the next year I'm fairly certain I will upgrade my goggles (relegating the EV100s to "ride alongs") and am on the fence between the Eachine 200D or the Aomway V1/V2 goggles. I'm not particularly interested in FatSharks currently but would like something with actual, true diversity (none on the EV100s) and built in DVR. I know your personal preference is for the Aomways but just thought I'd ask. Thanks and sorry about being so long winded!

    You touched on one major concern for some of us regarding prescription glasses. RHO-Lens and CustomFPX make prescription lenses to order that fit Fat Shark goggles. It appears this lens dimension may have been adopted by other manufacturers but I am unable find out if this is a standard used across all goggle manufactures. It would be wonderful if lens fitment information were made available in order to be able to consider other goggles in comparison for people who need corrective lenses.

      Make yourself an XT-60 to barrel cable, and just run a bigger, better battery. For extra security, run a battery checker/beeper on that battery through the balance leads, and job done.

    I would recommend Fatshark Dominator V3 if you shop around for the right price. About a month ago I was able to pick up a new brand new pair off eBay for $270 brought down to $230 with a 15% off coupon from eBay. I already have the Aomway V1, but could not resist the deal. Happy I did! For me, I can not get the edge of the screen in focus on the Aomways. The Dominators are clear edge to edge. The Aomways are a little more comfortable to wear, but the clear screen of the Dominators wins out in my case.

    • @Mantarr1
      @Mantarr1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get blurry left and right edges on my Aomway v1's as well but it seems to be an IPD problem where my eyes are probably wider than the max 69mm. I notice the EV200's now have a 72mm IPD so I'm thinking of getting a pair of these once the reviews give them the thumbs up.

    Thanks for the excellent video. This is me speaking for myself, I'm trying to decide on a first pair of goggles. I want the best I can afford, but even if I purchase the most expensive pair it's going to take a lot of time till my skills develop to a point where I can get the most from those goggles. By that time I'm sure there will be newer, better goggles on the market. On the other hand, I don't want something that I'll outgrow sooner than I'm comfortable announcing to the wife that I need a new pair of goggles. You've made the process much easier.

    AOMWAY v1 is working great for me. On top of it great customer service, the joysticks kept falling off and I was thinking to stick a little glue on it to keep it staying, no good idea I broke the sticks and they send me new pieces for free, just had to pay shipping $5 and it went fast, though I can't compare with the other goggles as I haven't tried other goggles but not interested either as this ones are very satisfying!

    I am about to buy into a goggle. I know you are an aomway fan, but if money was not the issue, which you prefer: the hd3 or commander v2? These are on my list, but find it hard to choose. I am also looking into testing them, but I like to know your take on this.

    Hey stew thanks for this roundup. I grabbed the AOMWAY Commander V1S, having trouble figuring out how i am going to power them though? I heard some people get a long cable so they can have the battery in there pocket like the skyzones. What do you think is the best option? Cheers bud.

    I want to learn fpv flying. But what is a good beginner goggle? I thought about Eachine ev800d or Eachine ev100. I don't want a really expensive one but ones like underneath 90 dollars or something. What do you recommend? I wanna fly outdoor and indoor.

    Aomway v1s seem best all round for beginner's.
    Hdo I would wait and see what the problems are after using for over a year. A lot of people saying about screen burn in the OLED screens.
    Dominator v3 are still very good and cheaper now other models are out..
    Aomway v1s for beginners, can't go wrong😁😁👍👍

    Do the fatshark dominator hd3 have cons or dealbreakers?

  • @dlan51
    @dlan51 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    For beginners I say get the vipers.Low cost to enter fpv, great screen, small form factor for box goggles, nice case, detachable screen, and the ability to with bottom of goggles removed, to also see your surroundings while still seeing screen, if you want to.This feature also makes
    them very comfortable in summer.
