One piece save me from depression from my mom's death + failure life i just lie down on bed for almost 2 years then i watch one piece from start i learn to smile and laugh again and most importantly to cry again, and start to improve my self again, if i saw someone whos one piece fan in real life i feel like i wanna be friends with him/her cause he/she knows what really one piece give to us, for me one piece give hope.

I just finished water 7 and enies lobby yesterday, truly some of the best arcs in anime. Update 1: Just finished dressrosa today, safe to say this show is in my top 3 fav anime. Update 2: All caught up and waiting for Joyboy! ;)

I've seen a few creators forget the "spirit" of We Are! but Sam nailed it perfectly here with his choice of instruments, the shape, articulation, and of course the original tempo.

I fully believe Zoro is going to sacrifice his life for luffy to achieve his dream in the end. They were the original two, and have been inseparable since then. It would be an insanely impactful ending to this story.

I barely finished the Alabasta arc. On episode 130 I believe. I FINALLY understand why One Piece is so loved around the world. The story, the crew (Sanji is my favorite!), the laughs, the emotions, the triumphs, the lessons, the message of never giving up on those closest to you, I LOVE this show. I can’t wait to get to watch everything else there is to offer! Also, opening 3 is SO good, but We Are will always have a special place in my heart ❤ Update: Just finished Sabaody Archipelago and wow…
Alabasta sucks So does Skypeia It doesn't get good till Water 7 and Enies Lobby. Then is goes back to crappy for a short bit at Thriller Bark until like the last 5 episodes or so of that arc. Then it gets back to being great with Sabaody, Impel Down, Marineford, post Marineford leading to the 2 year time skip. Even the beginning of the time skip stuff is good. Fishman Island was a bummer because the villian sucks ass. Then to Punk Hazard where I am which is good again.
East Blue was fine, but Alabasta is what really got my attention. I love Vivi's story and her relationship with the Straw Hats. Keep going man, you have no idea what's to come!
Ya when that last bubble popped I vividly remember thinking "Ok, I don't care if this story takes a complete downward turn (It doesn't) I NEED to finish this series."
Started watching one piece last month, already on 300th episode, and my god, what a masterpiece of an anime, I've been really enjoying it, this is the anime that really makes me feel better, and makes me to believe in myself and dreams, the adventure I had so far was amazing, and yet im ready now for the even bigger journey
AOT(minus 139) is better but yeah one piece is good too but one piece has a lot of boring arcs like live long Island Or whatever it was, thriller bark arc and more. Also many of the arcs had same repetitive tone of luffy and crew going to an island and beating that villain guy which was very very boring for any new watcher. That's why AOT is my #1 anime since it doesn't take time to get good, explore deep concepts like war prejudice racism (of course one piece does it too but AOT definitely does it better) Only thing I am sure that will make the impact is one piece ending will definitely be 100000000X better than AOT and I know it even before it is written due to the foreshadowing of ODA throughout. ISAYAMA did the same but he didn't land the ending that well.
Personal opinion is a thing guys, and i have loved aot is well, true one piece gets predictable at times, but the suspense it has kept us on for years and the hype going on after 2 decades really show what a masterpiece one piece is and how insanely talented a writer Oda is.

Thanks to Gear 5 episode and Netflix Live Action adaptation, I return to One Piece (I left in Alabasta) Water 7 and Enies Lobby were epic, I drop tears after know Robin's past and cried when they said Good Bye to Merry. I don't know when I will reach to the current arc but I'm sure of ONE thing...I will enjoy this journey!
I'm also currently going through my first watch of One Piece. It brings me back to 2014, when I first started watching anime. I'd binge anything and everything, not stopping between shows. I haven't binged an anime for years before this, and didn't think I'd ever feel this rush again. One Piece proved me wrong. Not only did it prove me wrong, but it might genuinely be one of my favourite anime of all time, and I haven't even finished it yet. Back when I was watching everything I could get my hands on, I'll admit that I, like many others, was put off by the sheer number of episodes. To anyone having the same thoughts, I'd advise you to just give it a watch. I started this watch about a month and a half ago, and I'm already on Episode 511. It feels weird to still have over 500 episodes left, and yet already be dreading the day I catch up.
I don't think I've ever binged as hard as I did with One Piece the first time around. Admittedly, I was originally put off by both the sheer number of episodes AND the fact that Zoro was called "Zolo" in the 4Kids dub. Little did I know that "Zolo" would be my favorite Straw Hat after Luffy! XD You should totally read the entire manga! Trust me when I say you won't regret it. With One Piece entering the final saga, now is the best time for that! Otherwise, the anime onlies will definitely not be able to go spoiler free when Laughtale is finally revealed.

Without a doubt, the first opening song of One Piece (1999 -), "We Are!" Hiroshi Kitadani's remains the best of the entire series for being unattainable and unsurpassedly iconic and memorable. And this epic version of the theme proves it, you did excellent, Samuel Kim.
It stumps me to think that the series isnt even over, Oda hasnt even finished writing it and its almost twice as old as me, and to keep a story this amazing for all that is a feat not many people can pull off
I always sneered at anime, but my 10 year old got into One Piece and as a good dad, I watched it with him. It was his choice! But I love it as much as he does. My sons face watching it just brings so much joy, he's as happy as Luffy and adores Zoro. My face seeing his enjoyment is like Luffy seeing a big pile of food. One day, I'll be king of the Dads!

My 9 year old got me into One Piece Anime and live action in Nov 23. Currently nearing the end of the Skypia arc, around episode 180. Just loving it, it's like I get to be a kid again and Luffy is just the greatest!

I loved this track, I can almost imagine this as the ost during the final battle of all the series, with Luffy giving the final blow to the last boss, while a lot of the characters are looking and cheering him. 100/100

I remember my first journey of beginning One Piece in 2013. I was OBSESSED with that anime, but i eventually moved on and i seriously need to catch up on everything. But i swear to God, the moment i heard the Orchestra swell in the beginning to burst forward open to the main chorus. I actually cried like a baby. Chills. You took me back to remembering how i was in complete awe of this series when i first began in. I may catch up on it once again because of this! Thank you Samuel!

Imagine this: the final episode of one piece gets released and the first bit of this song plays when luffy gets the one piece and he starts laughing. Then when the upbeat starts we cut to luffy being the pirate king with his friends and we see each of them living out their dreams and hopefully by then there will be a couple more crew mates added

Personal opinion is a thing guys, and i have loved aot is well, true one piece gets predictable at times, but the suspense it has kept us on for years and the hype going on after 2 decades really show what a masterpiece one piece is and how insanely talented a writer Oda is.

Thanks to Gear 5 episode and Netflix Live Action adaptation, I return to One Piece (I left in Alabasta) Water 7 and Enies Lobby were epic, I drop tears after know Robin's past and cried when they said Good Bye to Merry. I don't know when I will reach to the current arc but I'm sure of ONE thing...I will enjoy this journey!
I'm also currently going through my first watch of One Piece. It brings me back to 2014, when I first started watching anime. I'd binge anything and everything, not stopping between shows. I haven't binged an anime for years before this, and didn't think I'd ever feel this rush again. One Piece proved me wrong. Not only did it prove me wrong, but it might genuinely be one of my favourite anime of all time, and I haven't even finished it yet. Back when I was watching everything I could get my hands on, I'll admit that I, like many others, was put off by the sheer number of episodes. To anyone having the same thoughts, I'd advise you to just give it a watch. I started this watch about a month and a half ago, and I'm already on Episode 511. It feels weird to still have over 500 episodes left, and yet already be dreading the day I catch up.
I was hesitant to start One Piece too, and now I have my pfp as Luffy and haven't changed it in years. We will be waiting for you in the land of Wano!

I don't think I've ever binged as hard as I did with One Piece the first time around. Admittedly, I was originally put off by both the sheer number of episodes AND the fact that Zoro was called "Zolo" in the 4Kids dub. Little did I know that "Zolo" would be my favorite Straw Hat after Luffy! XD
You should totally read the entire manga! Trust me when I say you won't regret it. With One Piece entering the final saga, now is the best time for that! Otherwise, the anime onlies will definitely not be able to go spoiler free when Laughtale is finally revealed.
I feel you man, but my binge watch rush is pretty much interrupted with school exams, but in my relief next week will be the semester break and I'll be back in 1 am to 7 pm binge watch.

Without a doubt, the first opening song of One Piece (1999 -), "We Are!" Hiroshi Kitadani's remains the best of the entire series for being unattainable and unsurpassedly iconic and memorable. And this epic version of the theme proves it, you did excellent, Samuel Kim.

It stumps me to think that the series isnt even over, Oda hasnt even finished writing it and its almost twice as old as me, and to keep a story this amazing for all that is a feat not many people can pull off

I always sneered at anime, but my 10 year old got into One Piece and as a good dad, I watched it with him. It was his choice! But I love it as much as he does. My sons face watching it just brings so much joy, he's as happy as Luffy and adores Zoro.
My face seeing his enjoyment is like Luffy seeing a big pile of food. One day, I'll be king of the Dads!

Omg the beginning gives me goosebumps, its like a feeling that we are in the final scene of one piece 😭
I loved this track, I can almost imagine this as the ost during the final battle of all the series, with Luffy giving the final blow to the last boss, while a lot of the characters are looking and cheering him.

I remember my first journey of beginning One Piece in 2013. I was OBSESSED with that anime, but i eventually moved on and i seriously need to catch up on everything. But i swear to God, the moment i heard the Orchestra swell in the beginning to burst forward open to the main chorus. I actually cried like a baby. Chills. You took me back to remembering how i was in complete awe of this series when i first began in. I may catch up on it once again because of this! Thank you Samuel!

Imagine this: the final episode of one piece gets released and the first bit of this song plays when luffy gets the one piece and he starts laughing. Then when the upbeat starts we cut to luffy being the pirate king with his friends and we see each of them living out their dreams and hopefully by then there will be a couple more crew mates added
