Which month of the year was that? How is the snow condition around end March?

We visited on the 8th of March this year. Snow last till end of March but the beginning is much better.

100% Furano was worth the flight from Australia so a 1.5 hour drive from Tomamu is without a question.

Hey mate,
looking at a trip to Japan from Aus and hoping to get some skiing in. Furano looks amazing, but would you recommend the trip to someone who has only skied a few times?

100% Hokkaido is exceptional even for beginners. Lots of amazing green runs which have awesome views as well.
