Dude, she was *actually* a favorite to win from the opening break. "She doesn't seem affected by the enormity of what she's about to accomplish." What enormity? Winning a match she was always a slight favorite to win?
The fact that Chen was WPA 9 ball champion 2017, once wpa ranked 1st, player of the year 2011, but he still underrated her, is a clear sign of racism against Asian, and sexism against female.

If anything at all, it's incredibly ambiguous if there was any racist intent in the commentary. Some people like to connect 2 dots that are so far apart to even consider them related.
33:55 this is what seperates pros from amateurs, i would have panicked and hit the cue hard with center top, fearing it will curve if i put any sort of spin at that distance. Looks easy this shot, but far from it in fact.

Ms.Chen played very well. I like her style of play. Very aggressive and not afraid to use the rails when getting shape. Most female players tend to be not as aggressive and shy on the table. Not Chen though she looked very comfortable. Good job!!

Mitch is somewhere in the 200 or 300. She has just as many points as Tyler Woodward, and Tyler is number 3 in the USA (after SVB and Mike Dechaine.) And the commentators are telling us Mitch was the favorite to win lol.

Yeah, it was a great shot. In this case, deflection/squirt is more of a concern than curve because of the speed the shot is hit at.
