I have completed my 12th in PCB, and everyone said that u can't go for IT only u can can go for medical as u r a biology student and u haven't did math even as extra.... Then I don't know much about these things but now feeling better after shraddha didi said u can go for IT if u haven't done your 12th with maths.

Btech CS/IT will provide you better placement than BCA and you will learn to much computer related concepts in CSE/IT than BCA.
All the company will not allow you during placement if you are under BCA.

Am in my 2nd yr of bca from graphic era. I would say its a good course and you will have time to explore many more things like extra skill development. I dont know about btech but ya bca is good if you dont want much stress and study but more of exploring new domains inside computers only + doing studies

@@shreyabaliyan2805 there are colleges who don't allow you to apply for BCA without maths but there are many other colleges who lets you do BCA without maths. I guess my college is one of them idk for sure cause i had maths so i didn't run into any problems

If you are comfortable with learning everything online and all you care about is a good college life, nice campus, and great friends, then do it. If you want competent faculties, then dont come here.
@Anupriya Jaiswal depends on what you expect from the college, as i said in my comment. If you expect good campus, helpful staff, lots of fests and events, healthy junior-senior interaction, decent students, then correct choice. If you expect knowledgeable or competent teachers and/or expect to learn from college instead of online then definitely a bad decision.
@Anupriya Jaiswal Offline classes most probably you'll get. 3rd years are starting from 1sep. Juniors too would be called soon I presume. Dont expect good placement though (not just from kjc, from almost any college with just a BCA degree). Better to go for MCA and then go for placements. Or if you can build your skills and portfolio in these 3 years and apply for off-campus placements then you might get a good one on your own merit.

@@mayankbadala3628 some colleges requires maths in 12th, but most of colleges not. You can get admission in BCA, but you will need to study 11th 12th maths + some advance chapters in 1st year.

BCA करने के बाद MCA करना ही पड़ेगा वरना अच्छा package नहीं मिलता है।
TCS Wipro 18k salary देते हैं
फिर अच्छे college से MCA करो तब अच्छे package मिलने के chance बढ़ते हैं
उसमें भी कुछ companies MCA students को allow नहीं करती।
BCA+ MCA के बाद कुछ prestigious government organisations भी join नहीं कर सकते(ISRO, DRDO)
BTech से 1 साल ज्यादा भी लगेगा और बहुत सारी opportunities भी छीन जाएगी।
मेरे हिसाब से BCA करने से अच्छा है एक tier 3 में BTech कर लो और अच्छे से पढ़ो, ताकि बहुत सारी opportunities हो कम से कम
वैसे भी BCA+MCA को BTech से हमेशा कम value दिया जाता है
ऐसा नही है दोस्त...
मेरा एक cousin भाई bca+ mca करके गूगल में जॉब कर रहा है। जिसकी सैलरी 40lakh per annum है। जो की काफी अच्छा है। और इस साल एक भाई btech करके 12.5 lakh per annum का जॉब लिया है।

I studied almost nothing in 11th and a bit in 12th, though got 85%. Thanks to Online Exams. I didn't even attempt JEE 2021. But I feel like CS is the field for me. Should I drop or should I go for BCA or some other course? Please anyone suggest something.

@@krish2793 LOLLLL, at arround 9k we are deserted bro. Yes, if you are ok with non-CS branches, then you can get all colleges. But most of us want only CS.

Ma'am i want to correct u here...the thing is there is no bca course in punjab University, other than that we can do bsc in computer science or bsc IT.
