There are several tutorials for this type of pocket but for some reason i always found them very confusing however this one its just so clear! I have been putting off a dress i want because it includes this type of pocket but i think this is it. Thanks!!!

This is the greatest Tutorial for the teaching of single and double welt pockets. I think the others talk to much with little clarity.

I am not very good at sewing. Every time I want to sew this welt pocket, I have to refer to TH-cam. After seeing so much tutorial, I would say yours is the easiest method. The video is also clear and easy for you to watch. Thank you for your sharing. It is really helpful.

THIS IS THE BEST WELT POCKET VIDEO I'VE EVER SEEN... Congrats..... Ive struggled with crappy videos for years, where they make you mark out folded 1cm strips which is fiddly and tedious.... This is so much better... And if you add the Savile Row trick of a fold in the bag, you also stop the pocket deforming from being pulled.
Esti minunata si ai munute de aur. Imi cos singura dupa tipare, asa am facut din tinerete. Acum sunt pensionara si ma pot juca mai des. Imi place foarte mult acest domeniu si urmarind videoclipurile tale am invatat foarte multe si pentru asta iti multumesc. Iti scriu din Romania, te pup!!

Great tutorial, amd exactly in line with tailoring methods ive been taught. The only difference i could see was the main body of the garment was not interfaced to support the wear and tear on the pocket. Most people dont use their pockets so they are often just decoratove at this point. (In fact, I've noticed that really cheap gatments dont even have pockets, just the welt, which mimics the pocket, without providing one.)

During the exam, they do not recognize such a method, because such pockets are sewn correctly differently. I know this is an easier way, but it is not compatible with the art of tailoring. You must be able to sew pockets using the correct method on the exam.
