Interesting! I discovered the extraordinary Rita and her equally talented mum Elisabeth during the covid lockdown days. Absolutely love bossa nova and jazz, but I also occasionally like to listen to more experimental contemporary stuff. Always had a feeling Rita would explore other musical paths. Still a huge fan xxx
OK, I admit I had some doubts about the combo of Pol and Rita, as a musical team! But now I'm not so worried. Good stuff! Keep on! I have been a long time Rita Payes and Elizabeth Roma fan.
ugh, to me its awful.....his singing is dreadful, his voice itself and the style, to me he has pulled her down....i assume its her own choice and she's not somehow dominated by him (though that would not be a big surprise, it happends, but , man, she was doing such cutting edge jazz. and now its this pop stuff......i find it dreadful....but if it makes her happy.....but can you seriously imagine Pol travelling outside of Catalunya or Spain with his own music, whatever that is? Without her name?
