I like how there are references to actual episodes of the franchise, like "A Better View for Gordon" and "The Sad Story of Henry" being alluded to via Thomas pushing Gordon through the station wall and Thomas colliding with Henry in a bricked up tunnel respectively. Even Thomas breaking the fourth wall and coming off the set and out of the studio was fun. The video seems to have some amount of heart in it, and is pretty good.
The attention to detail is great, and the chaos had me rolling with laughter! 🤣 And the fact that Thomas even exited the show and went into the real world is even funnier!
This is actually near enough the length of a classic series episode. Pretty ridiculously action packed in so short a time too. The sheer absurdity puts this in a league of it's own. As for Henry? I imagine he looked angrily at Thomas and said "I never left the first time. I'll stay here forever!" and thus Henry exploded. Whatever was left would be a grim reminder Thomas would not succeed in pushing him out on a second try. The first of course being Henry's debut episode.... It's the simple OTT things that can bring a smile to so many faces if not breaking into laughter. Made my day I can tell you that.
I saw his green and black car and thought "hey, isn't that Mr. Bean's car?" then the blue three-wheeler showed up and I realized it was a reference and that made my day that much better.
I am absolutely loving these unhinged Rube Goldberg device-like chain reactions. It has the perfect amount of "I have no idea what's about to happen next."

that was actually inspired, generally animation channels like this usually use thomas for the shock factor, but this looks like it was made with genuine interest in the franchise especially with all the references

Its funny cuz something like this did actually happen during the filming of the model era of the Thomas series. When filming the episode "Trust Thomas". There was a scene where Edward had to pull Thomas on a flatbed after his on-scene accident. But someone wasn't paying attention and the model props ended up falling off the film table and onto the ground, causing extensive damage to both models. Edward's model had to be repaired and Thomas' body shell had to be entirely recast and replaced.
I absolutely love it, the fact you faithfully based it on the models and how it moves the show perfectly and taking place in Britain. Also the Mr Bean reference is hilarious!
That single derailed damaged track somehow caused mass terrorism to both Sodor and our world, all while poor Thomas couldn't stop himself, like damn! I'm glad he's ok, but man, his durability is most impressive.
Today's Damage Engine Responsible: Thomas The Tank Engine Damage Caused: 1 Helicopter, 1 Cat, 4 Car and 1 Driver, 1 Bike, 3 Steam Engines, 3 Rolling Stocks , 1 Big Ben,And Every Single Filming Sets in need of repair.
I hope they eventually do a Zoobilee Zoo unhiged...that would be nuts, that Bear guy had his little runabout car, so it could maybe work. I am sure a Titanic unhinged is coming, seems to be a popular idea.
This is magnificently, joyously insane. Some little details that are just fantastic. The pause while waiting for Thomas and Henry to come out of the bricked-up tunnel is exquisite. I love that the numberplate on the blue Range Rover (1:42) literally reads 'UK PL8TE'. The cat crossing the road (2:25) is about the size of a labrador - I've no idea if that's deliberate or just a scaling issue gone awry. And the cyclist (2:31) does the Wilhelm Scream as he goes over the handlebars! I was very confused when the Fat Controller suddenly started speaking with an American accent at the end, meanwhile 🤣
I'm not sure what should I be more concerned about. The Idea of a literal small toy train causing literal millions of dollars Worth of damages and pontinetally killed people Or the mental state of that guy in the blue sweater..
The original Thomas model from the 80’s went up for auction recently. This seems to explain the condition he was in… Loved all the different references and Easter Eggs thrown in here!
