Hey everyone and welcome to WittCode! In this video we will be going over how to connect to a MySQL database with Java using a Java JDBC. Specifically, we will be using a Java JDBC in IntelliJ IDEA to connect to a MySQL database created with MySQL Workbench.

I was having troubles connection to the database in the workbench, had to unninstall everything quite a few times, delete every single MySQL folder or file, but it worked in the end, thank you !

Hey there! Im glad I could help!😀 Also if you were trying to uninstall MySQL you have to use the installer! This doesn't make much sense to me haha but Ive seen videos telling you to delete all the folders and everything but just redownload the installer if you deleted it and run it and there should be an uninstall option!
