Pythagoras H W Ans... so apply special case i.e 2 same side then 3rd side will be ×2 so.... (x+1)*2=(2x)*2 + (x-1)*2...=/ x*2+1=4x+x*2-1...now x square and 1 will be cut from both sides (x*2+1=x*2-1) will be cut and well be left with 4x=0 and x=4

In the second last question where we have to find the perimeter of triangle 📐 BCD why we added side AB and AD in that? For perimeter of 📐 BCD we have to calculate BD+BC++CD. Isn't? Can anyone please explain?
