Oh loved it. I’d rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I’m not.

Totally agree! Its taken years of self reflection and therapy to know and appreciate myself in all the unique and awkward ways I show up. And good to know we are not alone as introverts!

The way I see it: just like you teach us, it’s “niching down”…our attention. Instead of the focus looking everywhere for acceptance, we zero in our focus to self. To love and accept ourselves in our entirety. Including the shadow self. Through this, we can then begin doing the work that will free us. It will show up in our creativity, artistry, our work, our relationship with clients. Therefore, amplifying exactly what we seek to do-winning in our craft & work bravely.
I’m reminded of the quote by Lao Tzu: “He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier.”
Awakening where true creativity, art, & business relationship comes from: ourselves. Thanks for helping try to free us

And... that's why discovering WHO YOU REALLY ARE is important. Then, work your way on WHO YOU WANT TO BE. Authenticity is key. Goal is not just to do but TO BE.

Interesting this has held me back from making content i can be quite abrasive and judgemental at times but in a loving way and it comes from a place of care and experience but people don't like to hear the truth because unfortunately the truth is seen as a threat 🤷🏾‍♀️

Thank you for expressing this point of view. In places where we do not need to adjust to one another in order to work harmoniously (like the public appearances or platforms you consider as your own), I can respect this.
However, if we need to work together, we just need to agree on what can be acceptable. For those we cannot agree on, we just need to be creative and do things differently or work around the boundaries.

I like knowing where someone stands with me, even though that means I am going to hear things that are unpleasant. I can’t read minds and their truth of me, gives me the chance to evaluate. Sometimes they’re something I see differently and sometimes I don’t want to change a thing.

First, thank you for saying "identity", instead of "idennity". The English language is your tool, speak it correcly. Second, thank you for being genuine. Authenticity is lost once you give attention to the nannies, and sensitive Nancies. 🎉💯💖

For me Chris is almost like a younger version of my old Asian IT lecturer. He had a no-nonsense abrasive approach to teaching, almost like Jacky Chan's teacher in the old kung fu films. Even the other lecturers were scared of him. Underneath the surface he actually wanted everyone in the class to succeed in life. He would lock the door 5 mins after the class started. He taught me study techniques, what books to read, philosophy, etc. I had a very happy polite teacher on another course afterwards at the same facility and didn't learn anything from him at all including what he was supposed to be teaching.

Contrived vulnerability is not being vulnerable; it is a tactic.
    Tactics are transactional.
I have always thought that if one describes themselves as a "creative photographer" they are probably not.
Nominating oneself for the vulnerability train doesn't mean you get a ticket to the destination.
If you are vulnerable, self-aware, and well-grounded, you do not use it as a tool or a tactic.
    You just are.

Feels like I have seen this before… “I do say things that can sometimes hurt people because I want to go for impact… I want to make sure that you understand.” It’s early, I haven’t had any coffee yet.. a lack of caffeine might be what has given rise to my sense of befuddlement and not the logic within your reasoning….maybe. Later I will listen more carefully. Thanks for the share. Cheers

🥰Hello! You must know that after "secular struggles" that lasted for 2 years...I presented my first educational course. With physical presence. I mean, I acted. ..that's the only way to see if you did well. And so I understood that what I created..is not in line with what teenagers want. At least not in this format. There is a lot to change. But I also have many ideas. The experience was very pleasant. We had a banner (That you helped me create, thank you sooo much ), books, course structure, pizza, good energy... I can't wait to try again in February 2025. Thank you, The Futur !🥰

To be vulnerable in the face of other people’s self interest is just pure foolishness

    Chris - no, wrong. :P
Being who you are does not equal oversharing. Honesty does not equal full disclosure. Nothing wrong with boundaries in professional spaces.
I respect people who in turn respect my time and the fact that it's not all about them, their political belief, their ethnicity, their vulnerability. It's about how they can help their audience. That's it.

Good video. Business may be more about your soul, than money. It seems as if the first business everyone needs to start is the business of life. Who are we and what do we want. Most people can't be vulnerable enough to be honest with themselves. So its hard for them to exist, let alone start a business and sell a product or service. Maybe we're all just buying and selling salvation in the end.

The irony is the world is in desperate need of people being real and speaking the reality as it is but that's what people avoid the most to the point people would rather die then face the facts

People getting called out for the truth of what their all doing.
Just show the fu×k up and so I'm here to make money.
But most won't, true authenticity does not matter as like you said about the guy who cheated, it just didn't matter lol

Way to close out the video. 😮 In complete alignment with this. When I leave this earth physically I want to be remembered as the only Henry K on this planet. The person who lived his life on his terms despite how hard or easy it was at times. I want my son to say one day “my daddy is/was 1 in 7 billion and there was nobody like him on the planet” Embrace your uniqueness. ❤
