Do you know if this gives me good chances with job at a facility? I also have research experience for undergrad.
You need to have at least a bachelor degree in Biology-related course, and write in to any fertility centre in Malaysia =) We provide in-house training.

Hi Vibha, we are afraid that we are not in the right position to answer this question. If you take a course in " Clinical Embryology", this would be more relevant to everyday practice of an embryologist now. However, "MRDG" study more detail in the molecular level, which is most probably a future trend in IVF labs all over the world. Please get advice from education consultant.

We would prefer you to have at least biology-related Degree and in-house training will be provided. However, a more related degree/master will be an add point, that would help you to understand the theories better. Please get advice from education consultant.

👋 if you are IVf Kasih patient, you would be directed to either Sunfert@Bandsar South or Sophea for procedure related to lab/OT. Both Sunfert and Sophea embryologists are in the same team and our practice is the same. Currently the lead embryologist in Sophea was a senior embryologist in Sunfert@BS. Hopefully this answers your question =)
Hi Xin Qi, it is again depending on the training schedule set by the clinic. Averagely you will need about a year to be able to perform every procedure in embryology lab, but years to master it.

It is interesting to see no makeup is allowed in the lab. But I'm curious, how about skincare products like toner or mosturizer? Or no makeup means you have to be total bare face inside the lab? Another question is, for hijabist, is it allowed to wear tudung inside the lab? Or the clinic will provide any tudung-like scrubs to the embryologist staff? Please notice me, thank you in advance 🥰🤲🏻
Hi Erda, toner and mosturizer is allowed in our lab. No other make-up because most of it is powdery and has strong smell, we are trying to prevent contamination and also reduce the level of VOC. For tudung, it is recommended to prepare one clean one just for clean room/lab use. We only provide long sleeves srcub.
