In an early European Version of HMDS there was also an event at the goddess pond with the 2 kids, which was still in Japanese. They "fixed" it aka. removed it completely in later versions. I'm not 100% sure but I think there was one with Murray and Mukumuku (or Daryl and Mukumuku) too.
I can see why Marvelous wanted to switch translators, even if it meant changing the name of their games overseas.

I remember the one with Daryl and Mukumuku was fully translated and intact in the North American version.
