    Which intro is your favorite? Another favorite version?

      Oooo, can’t honestly say I have a favorite. I did hear Jerry Garcia Band play this song live in the early 90s and loved it, but that’s just my personal bias from a happy memory. All these versions are beautiful. 😊

      I'm a fan of 91's. Which is your favorite to play?

      @@ArienDH11 They're all fun to play, but I do like the 90s versions a lot.

      Probably the 91 one cause I learned that from you first. Its like Roger Moore or Sean Connery. I'm in the minority of Roger Moore guys I think.

    Very nice melody, this solo is perfect for a beginner to learn how to play over some changes

    Great lesson. Interesting how much these evolved over time. I am not familiar with JGBs version of this tune but this gives me plenty of reasons to check it out. Thanks!

    3-22-78 is one of my favorites. And 8-29-87 Melvin seals and his Hammond take you to church

    Do you think we could get a days between solo transcription?

  • @hcharton5722
    @hcharton5722 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    the transcriptions onto the staff are very, very helpful - the transcriptions into tab that do not include the notes on the staff are not at all helpful to me. I want to know the notes so that we can analyze the music - analyze the notes relative to the chord and the key center. Then I can play these licks anywhere on the neck. But TAB only holds back from understanding the music- especially without the notes on the staff..
