I'm still trying to understand this trailer two years later. FBI SWAT and GenSec Elite SWAT are coming up on both sides of Chains, but then as soon as the Skulldozer mows down the rest of the crew, they instantly back off? But weren't they like less than 100 feet away from Chains?
Col. Gutsy I wouldn't say mercenaries, that had more of a derogatory "for hire" tone. GenSec is a private security contractor who employs units more elite and well trained than even the FBI and federal law enforcement can send out to fight crime. If you read the FBI Files on the PD wiki, it says that GenSec are actually hired by D.C. public safety officials as a complement to their own LE units to increase the probability of taking the gang down.

I don't think Zeal are mercenaries, the Zeal teams are likely the result of Garret's involvement with militarizing the police force, heck I wouldn't even call the GenSec cops to be mercenaries just a company that's starting to get annoyed with the PayDay gang.

Funny thing is, it takes about 150 KSP bullets to takedown the Skulldozer by headshots And it takes about 10 KSP bullets to takedown the whole crew in less than 5 seconds in close range by a Skulldozer... Yeah that seems so legit :D

1:55 tends to happen to me way more times than I would expect it to. I run out of ammo while engaging a 'dozer. So too does the 'dozer, so we're just standing in the middle of the AO, staring at each other while changing our mags.
I think in this universe, GenSec _IS_ the National Guard. (Names are different, like Federal Bureau of *Intervention,* Department of Homeland *Surveillance,* etc. Zeal Swat are probably the equivalent of Nat'l Guard if GenSec's not, being special military units rolling out on home country. I got a bit flustered and angry when I failed Death Wish difficulty heists the first few times, then I remembered that it's called 'DEATH WISH' for a reason. Makes sense.

One of the few times when game devs actually put care into making the hardest difficulty fun. Instead of relying entirely in BS stuff, Overkill added a Bulldozer with an LMG, gave an increase to enemy health and damage that was noticeable but still fair and even added map changes that were specific to this difficulty. Even stealth got more difficult. While the amount of guards was only slightly increased (If at all, depending on the map), the previously mentioned map changes alongside indestructible Titan cameras made players to seek alternative ways to do the heist because their previous ones were either riskier now or then weren't options anymore. Everyone liked it because it did something new for once. So what have we learned? 1: Take notes Valve. Dealing with common infected that deal 20 damage per swing or HECU marines that can tank almost 30 shots before dying is not fun. 2: Fuck Jules.

I got a bit flustered and angry when I failed Death Wish difficulty heists the first few times, then I remembered that it's called 'DEATH WISH' for a reason. Makes sense.

The realization on the dozers face right as he starts reloading is my favorite
One of the few times when game devs actually put care into making the hardest difficulty fun. Instead of relying entirely in BS stuff, Overkill added a Bulldozer with an LMG, gave an increase to enemy health and damage that was noticeable but still fair and even added map changes that were specific to this difficulty. Even stealth got more difficult. While the amount of guards was only slightly increased (If at all, depending on the map), the previously mentioned map changes alongside indestructible Titan cameras made players to seek alternative ways to do the heist because their previous ones were either riskier now or then weren't options anymore. Everyone liked it because it did something new for once. So what have we learned?
1: Take notes Valve. Dealing with common infected that deal 20 damage per swing or HECU marines that can tank almost 30 shots before dying is not fun.
2: Fuck Jules.
