Yes the lock becomes this dark color which is crazy I’ve never worn it kept it in it’s little dust bag and when I went to look at the lock it was completely dark.

I got a Louis Vuitton bag, exactly like that. In that style. But it has LV written all over it. I bought it as a birthday present, for myself. All my mum added to it, was just £10. And that is it. I added my pocket money to it. And my birthday money to it. xxxx ☺ ☺ 💓 💓

I’ve had my speedy 25B for about 3 years and have worn it quite a lot and the metal hasn’t tarnished. However LV is going down as far as quality is concerned while raising the prices. A lot of people have complained recently about how horrible the bags are looking. Some girl had a Palm Springs mini and the stitching and everything was just absolutely horrible. When you pay a lot of money the quality should match the product.

Hello Ellen, While watching ur video I checked my bag as well and saw the same thing on the gold hardware where i put my strap. I thought they were scratches but when i used a polishing cloth, it actually came off..so give it a try if u want..just wanted to share.. 😊
I couldnt actually find this particular size and print second hand for a good price in NZ. And I knew I wanted this exact one and have always dreamed about buying something from the store so decided to take the plunge! And I also knew because this is such classic bag and print that's been around for almost 100 years it was worth the investment and I'd have it for the rest of my life. Yes that's a good idea to do one on my YSL tote. Althiugh spoiler alert, its definitely not wearing as well 😂

Use metal cleaner and the tarnish will come off. It's the metal reacting with oxygen and creating this layer on the top of the lock.

I love this bag. But i love the speedy 40 bag more. The good thing about the speedys are that they come with a lock so youll secure youre belongings.
I'm looking at getting a speedy 40, it would be so handy for travelling and putting my laptop in!

Yes there is but you need a chain and hook to attach it :)

Get some cotton buds and cotton wool and polish up the brass, mine is 3 years old and I polish it occasionally and looks like new.
