When I heard that music start playing I instantly got so many childhood flashbacks and memories, man I miss those fun yet simpler times , I didn’t have a memory card then so I would literally beat the game everyday with my friend and we’d have so much fun each time

Kai the Saiyan tbh I don’t think xenoverse 3 will come out. The fact that there are too many dlc’s, and there’s no reason to make another one in my opinion. Another time patroller, saving times. It will basically probably be the same story just with a different villian. I honestly just think they should add beam struggles without any new game, and actually ban modders if they use it in public game if someone records them.

The best one for me is from Budokai because the camera stays still, focused on the beam while the characters stay in view, almost the same with Ult Tenkaichi but considering the setup, Budokai is better because it happens more like by chance instead of choice...for me that's better. Xenoverse is the most disappointing.

Raging Blast was amazing. You could deflect ki attacks and those amazing ki clashes destroyed my thumb sticks

I liked the idea of Budokai 3 of having the satta satta satta as a struggle as well, and I liked the effects of Limit Burst, Tenkaichi 3 had a good idea of showing who was winning clearly and how much time you had, and Xenoverse 2 had the best graphics. So, they all have something unique and special to give to Dragon Ball's most iconic staple.
Well this brought back memories watching the old dbz games it sucks they don't have beam struggle in Xenoverse

I think Ultimate Tenkaichi had the best beam struggles to be honest, there was so much detail in it. You could see the wind force coming off of the beam struggle, along with the animation of the characters putting in more power to their ki blast.

Xenoverse shouldn't even be on the list they don't even have clashed it's just 2 ultimate hitting each other and fading away instantly without any cool actions involved

Xenoverse 1&2 and fighterZ took out beam struggles. I wonder why. Seriously, beam struggles are what made the other games so good.

These brought back some good memories from Budokai 3, Tenkaichi 3 and Raging Blast 2. Good times. I have been playing a lot Xenoverse 2 and I can understand why they don’t have beam struggles, but I still wish they were.

I actually liked Burst Limit. Sure it had it's issues but was always hoping it would get a sequel cause they would have worked on those issue for it.
Omg that spirit bomb deflection at the end was so surprising! I cant believe it is possible to knock them back like that! It seems beam clashes exist but only in the background as either a dice roll or a calculation based on ki levels and it does so automatically. So no QTE but you still get the action. I like this design decision!
They need to bring back the good beam struggling again. Thanks very much for bringing some good memories back.

@@MikeDaddy I disagree, it's just an over hyped online game that brings people towards it bcuz of how easy it is. That game has so many problems.. so many.. cpu won't transform, boring unless you play with friends online bcuz this game sucks so bad in the local player department that it's not worth mentioning. No in game fusion, cpu is brain dead when their team mate is down, even if it takes one hit to kill you, the CPU will still try to heal their partner. Transformations are for show. Your attacks won't do any more damage than they did before. Ect. I only liked it for the character creation. It's a fun game..... To rent for 10 bucks. I don't know, going from Budokai 1 2 3, all Tenkaichis, burst limit, raging blast 1 and 2, I expected more from this game.

The cinematics of the struggle itself were the best in RB2 and the graphics from Ultimate Tenkaichi are amazing. If only XV2 had beam struggles.

This. This right here is what makes it breaks a dragon ball game for me. I am a sucker for the dramatic finishes and always try my hardest to cap off a fight with a climatic final beam clash and if the game doesn’t have one I get super sour at it

FACTS
As a fan of the Old school style of combat like Budokai & Burst Limit, I really wish that the clashing mechanic never got scratched. It made the game so much more realistic & fun. No games in the past 4 years has had a clashing mechanic and it sucks. I for one want it to return. Thank you Fox. Much respect for this bro.

Budokai 3 was my first DBZ Game
BT was my first.
Budokai Tenkaichi 1 was mine. I went back and played the others. Now I'm even better than my older brothers who played that game all the time.
Burstlimit being the only one out of these I've played, I'm probably biased in thinking that was the best one.

Ultimate tenkaichi had so much potential. The graphics were great, the music was phenomenal, it had destructible stages, customizable characters but the game play wasn't all that. When xenoverse came out I thought it would be like a redeemed ult. Tenkaichi and then they have the current netcode issues, op skills and then they took out what we loved most which was the destruction and beam struggle. I just hope XV3 finally gets it all right

XV2 would be a much cooler game if it ACTUALLY had beam struggels
Xenoverse does many things right, it made true 3D environments, it made attacks and supers and transformations simple and intuitive for anyone, it has ground for combos (not the best but still good when practiced and really honed), a unique plot, replay ability, good graphics, but man do the super clashes suck.
1.Theres about a few dozen bland 3d environements
2. Wait they werent intuitive before?
3.You could mean two things by ground comboes but one of these is outright wrong and the other one happened in rb2

I miss the beam struggles from the ps2 era. It made multiplayer even more fun and always got my heart racing whenever my buddy and I clashed attacks. Now its just, oh, they'll negate one another more often than not :/
Budokai and Burst Limit was the prettiest...I always loved how theirs look....especially Burst Limit...that game can have some beautiful fights with that stage transitioning.....damn I need another Dbz game...I miss Tenkaichi 3

Ultra instinct Gohan yeah, cause in rb2, the ultimate attacks aren't clashable with super attacks(the ultimates will destroy the supers like nothing), with the exception of Ssj3 Broly's omega blaster(super attack) and Ssj3 Vegeta's Final Flash(super attack).
