In fact, Garou's hair is in this orange tone because he is becoming a monster, the manga makes this very clear and it also doesn't make sense for it to be blood, otherwise his hair wouldn't be orange but red.
I've been rooting for Garou all episode: 1. He's not a bad character; 2. He is not a coward; 3. He doesn't have any specific good reasons and goals; 4. He was protecting kid; 5. He DIDN'T kill a single heroes either before this episode or after; 6. He is one against all.⚔ Garou is cool, especially when he used the tactics of a watchdog.🐾Well, his the new hair color is good. With all this Garou fighting with different heroes, you really start to like him. He's insanely good at learning. It hadn't been long since the fight with the Watchdog Man, and he had learned its movements. He remembered everything about the heroes fought with. 7:35 Genos, whom I was waiting for so much, and his new mega suit isss coool. Thanks for the amazing mega-cool reaction!!🧲🦊🧲
One thing that the anime reduced a bit is Glasses backstory. When he was with the Fubuki Group, they were all defeated by Demonic Fan, a Demon Threat monster, then they were saved by Tatsumaki, at that moment, Glasses thought that yeah, he could never be a Class S as they are gifted people, part of the elite, and he as a commoner, could do nothing more than to spectate, Tatsumaki then leaves and Glasses decides to quit his hero aspirations, but Demonic Fan was still alive, and as soon as he was going for the kill, Saitama appeared, that's when he says that he's done, Saitama tells him that nobody but him can decide his limits, but Glasses thinks he can only say that because he must also be elite, but then Saitama takes out the coupons, same coupons Glasses was keeping for a big sale, that's when he realizes Saitama is just like him, and so he decides not to quit, but instead, be like Saitama. In another extra chapter, at a convenience store, Eyelashes (one of Fubuki's top henchmen) meets him and he asks how it's been going after he left the Fubuki Group, as they chat, a monster appears and Glasses takes action, Eyelashes tells him that he should not go as the threat is above his capabilities, when he grabs his arm, he sees what's under the track suit, Glasses is covered in scars, then he tells Eyelashes "things haven't been easy for me either" and goes to fight the monster, leaving Eyelashes frustrated and in admiration, as Glasses is climbing the stairs of Herodom while he still the same.
We are lucky we even got his backstory, Glasses's backstory is part of a bonus chapter called "A New Wind Blows" which comes with the volume. Animes in general typically do not adapt bonus content from volumes.
@@HarvesterOfTheOrgan buddy... He didn't wash his hairs from that point on. And he had bloody on his hairs over and over... Some of it was his own blood.
I think the Crab Demon that little Garou liked is the same monster that Saitama told Crablante about reminding him of the monster he saw in an anime when he was a kid.
Usually you set the unbeatable monster and the good guy starts as underdog and works the entire show to get stronger and finally win, OPM is a parody of the genre so does the opposite, Saitama is the unbeatable hero and we follow Garou the underdog in his journey to get stronger
OPM also avoids the power scaling problems of shows like Naruto and Bleach, where the main hero keeps powering up and somehow meets enemies that overpower him, even though by that point they've already shown incredible power over others. We start with Saitama already being the strongest being in the universe, so his struggle is never "is the monster too tough", it's unrelated things, like "does anyone know who I am? Can I beat King at this video game?". Mob Psycho 100 is similar - the hero is overpowered, so their challenges are related to other aspects of their lives. I much prefer this to the power scaling problems of typical animes.
@ColinFox yeah, the mc struggle in opm is not about power, but more abt mental struggle like how to be a good hero? The point of having overwhelming strength and showing how a hero should be through Saitama and some other heroes as examples.
This time your reactions was the best ever, you both changed sides all the time, you wanted to watch a nice fight, but expecting that nobody will lose, that was just amazing
The fight between Garo and the heroes, alternating with those flashbacks about his childhood - this made for a great episode. 7:05 this hurt Garo more than anything, seeing the little friend he made run away scared from him. 7:35 Genos made such a badass entrance and the fight between him and Garo was so crazy. 11:44 Bang came in with a ruthless kick! This episode we just got "insane entrances" overload. Thank you for the exciting reaction and discussion ❤
While I do enjoy watching you two enjoying this anime, I think you are forgetting that Garo is NOT a good guy. He protected the kid, yes, but that just means he isn't a complete d**k. Remember, the kid LOVES heroes. He memorizes information about them. He just watched Garo beat down all of his Heroes. Why would Garo think the kid would appreciate him. He terrifies him.
@@Mandragoron Garou is a martial arts genius. Also, the first time Saitama hit him so hard he lost his memory and the second time Garou was completely focused on King and did not anticipate Saitama attacking him.
The thing with Garo is that he can't have it both ways, if he wants to be a monster then the kid is right to be frightened, monsters will end anyone...
His hair aren't showed very well but they became orange because garo colored them with the blood
That's not the reason. His hair is still red in the season 3 teaser. It's red because he's becoming a monster.
@@HarvesterOfTheOrgan its red because he rubbed his hair with his blood
